So, a while ago (2 years actually >.>) I posted with an idea for a chess tournament http://www.knights-reborn.org/forum/vie ... php?t=7249. Jawfin drew up the matches I think and we used chess.com to play the actual games.
I've always thought about trying to organize another one, but I never really seemed to have the time I would have liked, but school is out and I'm just sitting around now, so I figured maybe we should give it a shot for a second tournament.
If we get enough people to sign up, we will use chess.com again for the games, and draw up a bracket similar to last time (maybe I won't have to play jawfin first this time
) Last time there was a lot of interest, and I talked to a few people on the server who were pretty interested, so hopefully this will work. If there's enough interest we could expand it into a regular thing, twice a year or something, or more often.

You guys can go ahead and have at it if you want, remember, best of three, play as each color once and random the third time. Match time limits are standard for 3 days, but if each participant wants to change that then it would be ok. However, you must use the same time limit for all games in a match. Since some people are in radically different time zones then they would need more time because one person might move at 11 pm and they wouldn't see it until it was too late. Keep that in mind.
