Okay, so I forgot to mention that I would be scarcely on during exams, so yeah...... but while I was studying for exams, i came across an essay in my english book dealing with good alternatives to the Star-Spangled banner as the American national anthem. One of them was the theme from Hawaii Five-0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwhvByj8YG8). This got me thinking.... If you could decide a national anthem (doesn't have to be USA), what would it be?

it's a long song, and he only performed it live until recently when he released a studio version, but it sort of embodies the American spirit I think.
