[Dopie]

Hey folks,

I've been in and out of the JKA scene for the better part of 6-8 months, and wanted to clarify a thing or two.

Life always tends to throw a curve ball my way the moment I get excited about something JKA related, and while there's a bit of downtime in my life right now, I wanted to submit this thread, and give an explanation.

I re-applied to join KR back in the 2nd quarter of 2015, thinking that things were relaxed enough, and that I could continue doing what I love doing most. Rather than go into a long drawn out explanation of the events that occurred, for time sake, lets just say Dopie got busy, and lost track of time, and responsibilities as a member of KR.

Fast forward a couple of months, I got approached by Pearl to join her upcoming clan, Galactic Pirates. Completely forgetting my initial position with KR, and after a few discussions with Pearl, I opted to join to help them out. Made a logo or two, some signatures, and that was that. I then found a thread today, after wondering may have happened with KR, http://www.knights-reborn.org/forum/vie ... 50&t=11613.

I can see that my membership with GP affected a few folks, and that brings us to this thread today. I should have definitely made my position known on these forums of me going to another clan, even if the expected amount of time I was going to be in that clan was deemed short from the beginning, KR should have been in the know. I am sorry if I had let anyone down, and shed a negative light on my character, it's certainly not what I intended to happen, and I owe this community better. You all have been always welcoming to me, given me nothing but the best of your personality, and I don't want that tarnished.

In closing, I hope everyone had a great Holiday, and its great to see the continued activity on the forums & server. I hope you all can understand my position as a busy adult, and that I admit I was wrong in forgetting my position at KR.

Though I am little to not effected at all because I did not know you, I can assuredly say that being busy is common and not evil. If you need to be in absence, then be in absence. You just told somebody who double clanned us, after the council and clan let him return in the first place. That its all ok.

I don't see how accidentally forgetting you were in a clan clears things up. Nobody forgets they were in a clan after reapplying to a clan they had been in before. Id say the opposite sah.

Yeah, life gets busy stuff happens. If we are so easy to forget about, then perhaps we are not the clan for you. Not saying anyone hates you here, just that we consider ourselves a tight knit community, so forgetting about us indicates that perhaps you aren't as enthusiastic about KR as we would like you to be.

And John is definitely right, in regards to KR not being the clan for me. This was merely a formality on my part, and an attempt to extend the olive branch.
