Act 1: A ship yard
Popeye: Hey Bluto! are you ready for this?
Bluto: aye, we have dreamed to be sailors for a long time.
Popeye the captian should be here somewhere...keep looking.
Bluto: i think that him there lets go for it!
Bluto and Popeye walk over to the Capitan
Popeye: hello there! are you the Capitan of the S.S Akula?
Capitan: Would I be wearing this suit if i wasn't? How may I help you two?
Bluto: we heard you have open applications for a crew, and we might be interested.
(after a long interview with the capitan)
Capitan: you will be perfect! go right down this hall and you will find a room with the sailor's uniform, the ship sails at exactly 5:00, don't be late.
(And so the two sailors get dressed, and board the ship)
Act 2: The Ship, In the middle of the ocean
Popeye: We have finally gotten our father’s dreams, being a sailor.
Bluto: Not only that, but being on a ship the first day we are sailors.
(Explosions in background)
Popeye: Wow! What is that?!
Bluto: Lets check with the Capitan to be safe.
(Capitan’s Chamber)
Popeye: There he is!
Capitan: Oh its just terrible! Popeye, Bluto, go out and warn the passengers of the Disaster that is happening!
Bluto: whats wrong Capitan?
Capitan: The ship’s engine is imploding! We have to get out of here! Get people into the life boats and quickly get everyone off this boat right now!
(as the S.S Akula is blowing up, everyone quickly gets in life boats and evacuates the boat quickly. Popeye and Bluto get in a small life boat full of other people and start heading towards shore. They arrive at an island full of cities and land for farming. Bluto and Popeye decided to get an apartment and work and stay there for a while, though their jobs don’t pay much.)
Act 3: An island, three months after the accident
(In Their Apartment)
Popeye: I wonder how we will pay the rent this week, with this type of money I might as well buy a horse and run away with it.
(Bluto Enters)
Popeye: so how much you got there?
Bluto: same as always, $20
Popeye: that is enough to but some food, ill go get some, ill be back soon.
(In a Farm)
Popeye: excuse me? Anyone there?
(Crazy Farmer enters) farmer: why hello there! How may I help you?
Popeye: we just need something to eat.
Farmer: You look kinda depressed, may I help with anything?
Popeye: no not really, I couldn’t ask you.
Farmer: well then if I can’t help you with anything socially, then let me help you with something mentally and physically. Have you ever eaten spinach?
Popeye: not really, why? What good is spinach at times like these?
Farmer: that depends how you use em’. the way I use them, if for strength!
Popeye: strength? How can a vegetable give anyone physical strength?
Farmer: normally, just eat a bit, and you can do anything your little heart wants. Here, try some.
(Popeye eats spinach, throws up)
Popeye: I said I wanted something to eat, as in edible.
Farmer: (laughs) it is edible, and tastes good. Anyways, another advice from me, is to go to Rio.
Popeye: Rio?
Farmer: it’s a city not far from here, people who live there say that everyday is a pleasure and they never want it to end, everyone’s joy there is released ten-fold.
Popeye: thanks farmer! I’ll see you later.
Act 4: Their Apartment
Popeye: Bluto! Get your horse ready! We are going to Rio!
Bluto: Rio? What is that?
Popeye: A farmer told me it’s the place for the perfect living! Lets hurry up! The quicker we go, the better we live!
(And so they go on the road singing and dancing, being cheerful about their life about to change. Days pass like minutes and a few seconds on the side, them both walking for miles, tired, hungry, and yet still full of hope and joy. And in a couple hours, they arrive at their destination, The city of Rio.)
Act 5: The City Of Rio
Bluto: Look Popeye, there it is! The city of Rio.
(they enter the city)
Bluto: I suggest we visit the Bar first, we might meet someone that will offer us a place to live or we can get the know the locals.
(they enter the Bar, get drunk have fun, and meet lots of great friends, until 10:00 PM)
Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen draw your eyes to the center ring, where we will be showing you, the wonderful, lovely, beautiful, Olive Oyle!
(A woman enters the stage and begins dancing, amazing both Bluto and Popeye. Ends.)
Popeye: Wow, could you believe her Bluto?
Bluto: From my eyes, she is exactly you explained Rio was.
Popeye: well, it was fun and all, I even found someone to help us get an apartment and a good job.
Bluto: very well, we will visit him tomorrow.
(The next day they get the job, and get a great apartment. Now in the streets:)
Popeye: that girl we saw yesterday, her name was Olive Oydle?
Bluto: I believe it was Oyle. Why? Thinking about taking her? (chuckles)
Popeye: well actually yes, she is the best thing that happened to me so far.
Bluto: well then, you better ask her first, before someone else does.
Popeye: I will, thanks.
Act 6: Olive Oyle’s House
Popeye: (knocks on her door)
Olive: Why hello, you want an autograph?
Popeye: more like a romantic date if you would.
Olive: oh well umm, I am already going out with that buff, strong, handsome man whose name is too pure even for angels to say.
Popeye: oh well, may I know the mans, name?
Olive: the name he told me was Bluto, he is the best I have dated in a while, and I plan to keep it that way for a while.
Popeye: Bluto! When did he ask you out?
Olive: why, just this morning as I recall.
Popeye: thanks, by the way, my name is Popeye, nice to meet you Olive.
(In their apartment)
Popeye: how could he have betrayed me like that?! He was my friend till the very beginning.
Bluto: (enters) greetings Popeye!
Popeye: how could ya do that to me Bluto?
Bluto: What did I do?!
Popeye: I know you purposely went and asked her out just so I can’t have her!
Bluto: ok, maybe I did do that, but what are you going to do about it?
Popeye: I fight for what I love.
(they fight, Bluto wins.)
Bluto: that is enough, I am done living with you, pack your stuff you are out!
Popeye: hey! I bought and pay for this place, so I kick you out!
Bluto: well how are you going to with that grain of sand you call power?
Popeye: fine, but know this, I will have her.
Act 7: Bar
(and so, several weeks have passed since the brawl between Bluto and Popeye happened, and Bluto is still dating Olive Oyle, several attempts have been taken by Popeye to try to take her from him, but they all came to no avail. Popeye met some new friends and has told them all that has happened, but they don’t understand the love he felt for Olive. Him and his friends go to the bar at night for a bit of some fun, and Popeye was having fun until he met Bluto and Olive come to the bar. Bluto and Olive went behind the stage with Popeye secretly following them, over hearing their words.)
Bluto: come on Olive, one kiss?
Olive: not now Bluto, I am trying to get ready for the big show.
Bluto: aww, come on, don’t be like that, just one kiss (forces a kiss on Olive)
Olive: UGH! BLUTO! KNOCK IT OFF!
Bluto: you know you love it Olive, its just a matter of time until you see it my way.
Olive: just stop this Bluto, you do this every day.
Bluto: and you wish it to be more right? (forces more kisses)
Olive: Stop this right now Bluto! I mean it!
Bluto: aww be quiet. (doesn’t stop kissing her forcefully)
Popeye: [aside] I gotta save olive! But I am no match for Bluto’s power…but I don’t care, if it’s for Olive, then im going for it! Hey Bluto! Let her go!
Olive: Oh help me somebody! Help!
Popeye: Don’t worry ill save ya Olive!
Bluto: don’t make promises that you can’t keep Popeye!
(they fight, Popeye loses and Bluto throws Popeye out)
Popeye: I don’t get it, how can I match up to his strength? Wait a minute…strength..
(Flashback:
Farmer: well then if I can’t help you with anything socially, then let me help you with something mentally and physically. Have you ever eaten spinach?
Popeye: not really, why? What good is spinach at times like these?
Farmer: that depends how you use em’ .the way I use them, if for strength!)
Popeye: I know how to beat him! I need spinach! Now who here can give me spinach? (sees person crying)
Popeye: hey whats wrong?
???: Im crying because I have a lot of spinach, but I only want one hamburger.
(so Popeye finds the closest cow to him and punches it so hard, it literally flew up and created an entire meat stand. Popeye took one slice of meat and made a hamburger.)
Popeye: here you go sir, in exchange for this burger, I want that spinach.
Hamburger Guy: Sure thing sir.
(and so Popeye eats the spinach, runs in the bar, all ready, and egger to get the woman of his dreams back into his arms, and beats up Bluto like he was nothing. In the end, Popeye defeated Bluto [and threw him to the north pole] and got the lady of his life, Olive Oyle.)
Epiloge

Hamburger Man: ill give you a dollar tomorrow for a hamburger today.
Bluto: curse you Popeye the sailor! Curse you!!!
(at the Bar)
Olive: don’t think that because this is over that means you can walk away peacefully, who are you?! How are you so strong?!
Popeye: Im Popeye the Sailor man, Im Popeye the sailor man, im strong to the finish because I eat me spinach, im Popeye the Sailor man!
