I was watching The Godfather, 1972 gangster movie, when I came across this fight scene. Something here seemed a bit theatrical, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Help anyone?

Looks like he had a seizure when he saw the fist across his face.

Obviously his arm was going faster than the speed of sound and the guy is reacting as his eardrums are shattered by the sonic boom
