I think KR needs to expand to other games. Perhaps a sub-clan designed for Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games? The main focus would be Star Wars: Empire at War and it's Forces of Corruption expansion pack. I have a clan started for those games, it's called the Elite Tactics Squad, and we can even make put it as an extension to KR. The clan page can be found at this site.

The council will probably shoot you down here bud. I already asked about this, and the response was "Barring jk4 we won't expand anywhere" or something very similar.

Yup, to quote myself on a topic about expansion into ToR:
Falcon wrote:This has been discussed before, and we've already come to the answer of "No." And here's why:

1. An mmorpg is a significantly different than the kind of game that Jedi Academy is. Main thing being: on JA, everyone is equal, to a point. There's no weapons/armor, or different classes, or anything like that. We're all Jedi, and we have the same exact capabilities as everyone else. Very very hard and pointless to do in an mmo.

2. There are going to be some members of the clan that either a) don't want to buy the new game and/or b) do not want to pay the monthly fee for it (I'm one of the latter).

There are many, many other reasons that I'm not mentioning here, but from what I gathered for the previous post, those were the two big ones. All in all, not such a good idea :/

I appreciate the thought though :)
This is just an example. Of course the reasons are different for each type of game, but really when you think about it, there is not other game like JKA (besides JK2) and probably won't be for a while.
