As I'm sure most of you already know, today is the 10th anniversary of 9/11. For anyone who may not know, 9/11 was when Al Qaeda attacked the United States by hijacking 4 aircraft and crashing them into the 2 world trade center towers and the pentagon. The 4th plane crashed in Pennsylvania, short of its intended target. The people on this flight saw what was happening and took the plane back from the hijackers, but were unable to land it. All in all, a bad day.
Today, memorial services were held all over the country, and I wanted to just post a little something here to remember all the people that died in the attacks, and all the armed services personnel who have died in the war on terror that followed the attacks.
