So i kept have the same problem over and over... i couldn't swap saber technique quickly in battle example : i couldn't go from a fan to a red strike or a staff vert fan to a half staff fan quickly... How did i solve this? i set my crouch back to ctrl and move my keyboard 2 cms more away from me, and somehow i'm like 4 x more agile ... Have faith in the keyboard adjustment >.>

2 separate problems here.

Firstly with single: its takes 0.8 of a second for a saber switch to apply (and yes I did time it) and that's from when the last swing was executed. So if you are yellow fanning and cycle during that, it won't take affect until 0.8 of a second after the fan has finished and the saber isn't "swinging" / leaving a trail.

Staff: its a lot harder to switch from staff to single during a fan - requires perfect timing so you don't lose the fan (the same timing for hopping the fan without butterflying). Note that its very easy to switch from single to staff, no issues of timing there.

So I'm guessing its more of a practice issue as opposed to a keyboard layout one. I'd say moving the keys and keyboard just allowed you better freedom to hit the right keys at the right time.

Well for the staff fan style switch i just took ten minutes on kr1 and taught myself :-p Not to hard really just like you said jaw its all in the timing.
