To be honest Labour had to go.

Tories like many governments have had their moments but Labour have made a real mess of this term.

The huge deficit we face now that will plague our lives maybe casting us into more heart ache.. all caused by reckless Labour.

Sadly the electorate will probably think its Cameron because he has to make the cuts..

However I think we need voting reform, I like the idea or proportional representation but it means Hung Parliament is guaranteed and that gives deal breakers a bit more leverage.

Hopefully Cameron and Clegg will work well together.

Clegg may have turned a corner for Lib Dems

All i know is that labour did the best it could with the situation, Frankly i'd hate to be Pm or the current government because your going into power at a hell of a time..

The PMs job now is a poisoned chalice and I think whoever got in would not be so popular as they are going to have to make difficult cuts.

Labour could well be being street wise here, cutting Brown out now, regrouping and looking fresh if the Coilition fails within the next 12 months

However the electorate hopefully should remember the problem we face NOW is a problem caused by our previous Government and not the current one.

Brown has been pro active to employ changes during recession which has been effective..

However Global economic crisis or not, our problem has been made severely worse by the debt we have gotten ourselves into. Labour have been very sloppy and irresponsible with the fiscial situation over the course of the term.

This debt has been completely down to Labour, and Brown himself is largely to blame, he was Chanchellor of the exchequer prior to PM. He should have kept national debt low but now its sky rocketed to 850 billion!!! and they continue to want to spend more!!

Don’t get me wrong Labour have done some good things over their term, but the fiscial situation we now face is diabolical.

Peoples jobs and economy is set to have a setback and its not Tory/ Lib Dems fault.. its the defecit which Labour allowed to grow.

As a floater voter myself I think and hope labour will be back, ... but hopefully not for another 10 years..

I didn’t vote for Tory or Labour

But I don’t get how on one hand you say look at what the tories did in the past and in the same notion say Labour have done their best in the situation.

This Labour admin has been a bit of a catastrophree. During a so called Boom period after inheriting a good economic state from Conservative they borrowed more and more money didn’t regulate the banks so we are now destitute because they themselves have been reckless, failed to control immigration, joined two wars one of which was illegal, failed to equip our forces properly.

They claim to pump more money into NHS whereas my mum who is a nurse on a critical care ward used to house 4 nurses per shift now its two nurses and sometimes she is by herself with a few care assistants..

And in the super hospital in my city apparently there is four office admin per nurse.. that is out of control.
