k, so when i start jka, i get no sound, and in the game i get no sound, i can still hear uu and stuff, but not saber sounds or anythn?, is there any way 2 fix this without reinstalling jka, coz i cantr find disk 2...

Its things like that that totally throw me..

I know its accepted that your hard to understand etc..

Don't get me wrong, you know what your saying and I am sure others do.. but I certainly don't.

regarding the problem, I assume you have done the obvious and checked the game options?

Also have you installed any addons like skins etc recently.. They are classic ways to break the game.

You could try to temp move them out of the game folder and try playing the game in an unmodded environment, should any of these prevail you could introduce one so trial and error

That said I am sure some one here has a CD2

ill try that, is the the bold bit that u didnt understand, by that i mean in the game, i can still hear ultrautility (play music), so its not my speakers that are turned off during game play

The music is mp3?,, remember that's likely to be external application running that..

Infact since you own the copy what you'd be doing is 100% legal in fact.

i found it, re-installed, and it still doesnt work, when i start the game it works, just when the scrren goes 2 the full screen mode, it stops workin

Run it in a window.

Edit the jampconfig.cfg (a text file, use notepad or wordpad) and change the setting r_fullscreen from 1 to 0.

Then you may see what the console window will provide as an error - be quick on the print-screen key (and paste in mspaint) !

I actually wonder whether updating the graphics driver might work if the above fails.
