Obama doesn't support gay marriage. He believes that marriage is only between a woman and a man so ya, I don't really like his stance on gay marriage either. But who knows, he might change his opinion

His stance on Abortion is to uphold our current law that we have lived with since Roe V. Wade (1973)

So it's the same law that's been around since you've been alive

Glad to finally hear he is in office

I don't think there is a lot he can directly do to stimulate the economy.. Our PM has tried doing that and he is messing us up big time.

To a degree you have to let a market fall. Stock markets are a step forward two steps back at the minute..

I think and hope Obama gets two terms assuming he does okay in the first.. If he wants to "fix" America its going to take 8 years minimum. not 1 or 4.

Like him or not he better hope he can atleast somewhat pull off the messiah job that all the media has made him out to be. If he falls short of these expectations heaven have mercy on anyone who follows his path. So like him or not he better be as good as everyone thinks he is.

I think his stance on foreign policy would position him and US better already..

I do think media and his videos and speeches have been overcooked though.

Its just difference over here.. Over he wouldn't get all the praise and excitement unless he achieved it.. and would have considered to have given lip service until now.

Mind you we don't get as excited about elections as you do.. Probably because our politicians seem like boring over English toffs who are out of reality. Not to say they are no good of course

But I wish him the best.. I don't think he is the messiah but I think he will do well. I think majority of people in Britain wanted him over McCain.
