Mine comes from Ragnar Lothbrok, the legendary viking! Why the 4 ? Because I chose this name when I was like 11 years old on mIRC and Ragnar was already taken.. And the 4 always followed me since this day :P There's a TV show called Viking about Ragnar Lothbrok, pretty nice show :)

When I saw this thread, When I saw Frog's comment:

-[KR]-Frog: "I chose mine as an acknowledgement that I know nothing and am on a quest
to learn more about everything"

I was like: That's so real! :p

OK, so I shall start typing....

*****************************************************************

The origin of Syzyx's name. And in addition, the origin of all my names revealed at this time.

Wow... now that's like opening a can of Regulan blood worms! Or breeding Tribbles.

OK... Why not? If Frog can do it! So can I! But with a catch! :-P

So if, indeed you choose to bear with this trainwreck poet,

And decide of your own free will to read on...

Let it be known: It is entirely at your own choosing...

And! Be warned:

If you don't stop reading now, you agree:

"To be my slave forever, do whatever I say, and leave me all your stuff when you die!"

[Thank's Bender!]

************************************************************************************

Ok Slaves...

Before I do this thing... of explaining how I got/chose my name(s),
I need to qualify myself! By describing who I am, and how a random earth mortal might
be able to recieve/choose a name like SYZYX.

How? By telling of my real life experiences.

Plus! I have a very active Imagination! :-P

Whereby in the telling I shall introduce some of my real life Masters! And tell of Bona fide,
actual, real life experiences! YAY! :-P

(Warning: Some Latin and or Sanskrit words may be used.)

***************************************************************************************

This is really two or 3 seperate stories, but since none have properly been written yet,
I might as well include some short (by my long winded standards) versions of each.

For clarification, education, elucidation, of what this -[KR]- thread begs us all to disclose.

Our names... XD

***************************************************************************************

Name = What sound or noise do you want people to make/exclaim/type when they see/want you?
Name = a way to mark your lineage or heritage.
Name = a way to force people to say something or even acknowlegde/deny something.
Name = a way to affirm... or deceive. (I.E.: Padawan)
Name = powerful magic (said the Master Namer, and the Master Summoner).
Name = I am that I am

***************************************************************************************

Who Am I?

I know now who I am. I didn't always...

It's something that was gradual, but when it hits you it's like a ton of bricks.

You want to put names on that? U will fail. I struggle, but you will be defied.

labels? meh. pwnt.

Who I am,
Or: How I got to be who I am now.
Or: How did I discover and champion my INNER life to find out the truth of who I am?
Or: yes! I dare to suppose: How I found GOD! (Not the God of religion Per Se and FYI)

This Inner Life is now the primary and essential reason for me to be here. (anywhere)

Of this I am certain: I will be known by many names.
But I would prefer whatever God or the universe thinks best...
I'm not attached. I'm just a soul on an adventure. Hence my everyday use name:
Adventure. I could have chosen FROG! but I didn't think people would be
generally clever enough to get that.

Story:

In my 20's and 30's (the 80's and 90's) I studied metaphysical subjects, ESP and Clairavoyance,
occult things.. UFOs, before shows like Ancient Aliens, et cetera. I stumbled upon "The Pliedians"
and "The Ascended Master Saint Germain, (and several other ascendant beings).
Over a period of 2 years, I enrolled in a "psychic school'.
It was called: CCI - Creative Catalyst Institute.
Located in the Oakland California Hills, CCI is where I learned about the Human Aura,
the Chakra System, earthhuman energy manifestations, planetary consciousness, and some
of the secrets to the mastery of the Healing Arts!

I continue my studies and practice to this day... I just use my skills, my psychic skills I learnred from the ascended masters (kinda like jedi w/o the telekinesis) and by practice I mean being an effective person,
to bring peace, enlightenment, and healing to this troubled world,
and more specifically: a bunch of the people on it. (maybe even you!)

Sometimes this might seem like magic to those who have not yet crossed some particular threshold of under/overstanding.

Anywho...Through these experiences, I was able to sensitize myself to the
Divinely True, Good, and Beautiful. (things of higher form than the physical eyes can not see)
Something that comes with a cosmic awakenig is the ability to SEE beyond this small earthsphere and be a part of the greater cosmos! You have but to look 'within' to access in daily life the akasha - The "knowledge of the cosmos" is accesible to any normal minded earth person who wishes to undergo the mental and spiritual initiations, and can sincerely follow through. (This seems, at this time to me sadly few, but that's another rant)

Another story: My introduction to JA

It was the spring of 2006.

I was driving my beat up car out of Paia, Maui.
I picked up this guy hitch hiking, his name was Matthew Stewart. We talked for a minute and then of course one or the other of us mentioned gaming... Matt knew a whole lot about computers. (I was running my own hardware based tech support business on Maui @ that time, and also ECYCLING, so I had access to massive amounts of computers, and all sorts of free stuff! Like big screen TVs and all kinds of cool and practically brand new and
fully functional computers).

I brought him to my house... turns out he had worked as telephone tech support for Microsoft Windows,
& AOL, amongst others, back in the day on the mainland (in Ohio).

He was looking for housing, and my landlord let him move into a nearby unit.

From amongst the piles opf salvaged equipment we set up a fast LAN network
and fooled around with Emule and torrents to get some pay games for free
that were worth anything.

After a few days of this, Matt's says:

"You like Starwars?"...

Me: "Yeah! Totally!"

Matt: "There's this cool lightsaber game called Jedi Outcast!"...

We DL JO and start to LAN play but dont rly go online too much
because we get PWNT by pros! lol XP

But, nevertheless, we start improving and figuring out the gameplay.

Then like after a month of that We find out there's a sequel: JA.

So we DL that and go try to have fun, but its hard cuz we nubs,
and don't even know what laming is. >.<

But we did manage to install JA+, which back then was brand new!

So I moved out and to a diff place.. Matt («JSU»Island Wookie) stayed,
but we met often on whatever public servers we could manage not to get kicked from.
But I really kept playng all the time and Matt kinda stopped being a regular.
And then I got into JSU, started ranking up and having loads of fun as an admin
in a very populated server.... :-P
and then eventually I encouraged Matt to Join JSU too.

This is another story, Of why I, Michael M. Hill changed my name in July 1992 to ADVENTURE.

Now, You may rightfully say: "What kind of hippy dippy s**t is that?"

Well I can try to explain it.....

But it seems almost unnecessary, when put so brilliantly and succinctly by Misuour -[KR]-Frog:

-[KR]-Frog: "I chose mine as an acknowledgement that I know nothing and am on a quest
to learn more about everything"

Once again I want to warn you: If you read any farther, you agree:

"To be my slave forever, do whatever I say, and leave me all your stuff to me when you die!"

[Thank's Bender!]

OK, now that that's out of the way again, I can tell you some things to help you see my point
about the name thing... Said Mike, Michael, Adventure, Ventch, Jak(skateboard team), Syzyx...

When I was born in 1963, Michael was the #1 most common name for boys in america.

This did not excite me.

I was an adopted child. The people who adopted me, whom I still consider my parents,
(since they did 99.8 percent of the parenting, [may they RiP!]) gave me my first, middle and last names.
I used these names (actually Mike was the norm) as I grew, but as an adult reaching his Saturn return,
I felt a yearning to know my true name. I first started feeling this in the bay area, but concurrently
with this phenomenom of saturn return, I reconnected with my birth mother Nancy.
So I found other names to trip out on... Nancy's married name to her husband was Howe,
Which means Hill, my adopted last name... wierd huh? But her maiden name was Klaber. (Dutch)
Nancy told me about my genetic father... his name is Robert Holman...

ooo wow i said! more names... roots?... well it got less important the more names there were.

There are other name/descriptions... Perpetrator, Instigator, Agitator. and the ever popular Hey You!

I had a Nickname in highschool: The freshman... Because the seniors liked me and let me hang out with them! :-)

I had a nickname as a street/skate punk when I lived in an abandoned brewery's beer vat in San Francisco in the 80's.. "VAT RAT"

I was In the Trinity Alps at a regional rainbow gathering, it was early in the morning, I was practically skipping down the trail to the kitchen camp to make some oatmeal when all of a sudden, I hear a loud reverby voice say: ADVENTURE. At that moment I thought: that is my real name! So I took it and ran. at a rainbow gathering, almost everyone you meet will wholeheartedly embrace you changing yor name to anything you want. just FYI.

So I was sitting with Matt on the first week of our mutual JA initiation, and we're deciding our skins/characters for the first time, and names... I pick the noghri and he says "what name?" and I just blurt out SYZYX, no hesitation, with some degree of exitement. I think I almost stood up or something. It was an exclamation!

Prior to that for a small time in JO i was MrJustaGuy, and Noobius. But Syzyx was and has been my name for 10+ years.

Syzyx is a name that honors the memory I have attained of a previous lifetime in a distant galaxy not in any way related to Starwars, and minimaly connected to Earth's evolution, but Intimately connected with my own. When I said the word Syzyx! a doorway seemed to open for my memories of a time spent on some world far away but definetly in our universe in the distant past and def not in any way connected with the star wars universe or it's games directly. It's just that at that moment, the noghri character REMINDED me of this other (to muggles of earth) very alien reptilian, and that I was once a member of this species, and can remember some small but significant parts of my life there as it relates to my current life's lessons.

It seems that far memories can only be remembered by actually learning in this life that which challenged and defeated you in those lives prior.

Also: I have a very active Imagination!

Ppl say: oh George Bush is a reptilian, or so and so's a reptoid. Does that mean that ALL ETs are evil? No! it does not.
I can tell you that just because someone's an ET or some kind of reptilian, does not make them evil. Would you judge all Humans on the acts of a few? if that is the case then .... hahahahaha... You're all Donald Trump! Or maybe we should call you all Dr. Martin Luther King? Or Ghandi? or Hitler? Or even Darth Sidious!

but realistically, according to recent news.. The ET's judge earth humans as a group, grossly unfit to manage your own planetary affiars. just sayin'

:-P

P.S. I always just called me ME!

"I didn't do it! Nobody saw me! You can't prove anything!" - Bart Simpson

I'm also gonna need an itemized list of all your stuff, so I know what to expect when you die and leave all it to me. Also slave should be fresh and clean, so take a shower and prepare for a day of hard but rewarding slavery! You will not be dissapointed!

Also: if you comment, You owe me a million dollars.

Some of you already know but my name was given to me.

When the game first released I would normally just play as the name of the skin I was using (kyle, reborn, etc) on the duel servers so no one would recognize me. (as I lost a lot back then)

Eventually once the skins/mods starting coming out some early ones were Nintendo characters. Mario, Luigi, Samus, and Link were all available. I downloaded them because I thought it was cool/funny to see some of my favorite characters from other games in a star wars game.

On one particular duel server 2 guys came on. {FK}/<yle and {FK}ColonelAngus (2 former members of Frozen Knights and ColonelAngus former member and friend of KR. You may know him as -[KR]-TenaciousAnus) became frequent visitors. They got good enough to recognize I was the same guy under those 4 names and offered me an option to join FK. Eventually I agreed but I was told I can only have 1 name when I joined. I racked my brain trying to come up with which one I should go with.

Then Colonel Angus made a quick suggestion that stuck with me. "You seem to like there characters. Might as well just call yourself Nintendo lol". I officially submitted my name as such and the rest was history. 8)

@ Uscari,
Thanks pal, I was a lil schwilly at the end there, :P
I have a story called: "The Birth of Syzyx", (which I frustratingly hunt and pecked into text on my routinely abused keyboard in the final hours of a recent cyberholic/alcotronic debauch!)
(it's funny how much louder my typing gets the more I drink)
**********************************************************************************
This story, unfortunatly may have been lost when my last comp died 2 years ago! :-(
I shall continue to scan the box of old hard drives in my basement for a stray copy of this file which took several hours to write. I guess it will eventually turn into my fisrt attempt at novelizing any of my 'far memories'.
If I don't end up recovering this lost data, I can try to rewrite it: If I but re-create this former state of just the right combination of self adminstered ancient medications. :-P
Since I'm too lazy to do this right now, and since you are now may slave anyway, and since you have emboldened me with your considerate praise of my amalgamated and mostly ill-gained literary prowess,.. ( and also to express my gratitude and preliminary elation to you for volunteering yourself into what I assume for you is insurmounable debt, and a lifetime of humble servitude to the tasks which I decide you are best suited to.

Birth of Syzyx (Synopsis)

(For Uscari)

So on this world (see pronunciation guide below).. you are born from an egg.
In a special pit. The depth (39") and shearness of sides (90 degrees) being of highest importance. You will never know your parents, or anyone but the bl'nanrx that can claim any special connection with you*.... and at the same time EVERYONE can and does claim and consummate this connection with 'your mind' through the hive.
(* Except perhaps some concurrently hatching random neonate upon whose head or body you should happen to step upon or spring from as you execute the essential but limited amount of 'leaps to life'.)

FYI Kr'lgyns* who meet in such a way, w/o killing each other, often become 'close proximates' (besties) and live out thier lives together w/o regard for gender.
So... like someone coming up to you and saying: "I saw your mama deposit you!", or: "I knew your parents!" Never happens, not once in millions of years... And this is not Starwars.

This story is from an epoch in our history that is often dramatized for the education of those who had the fortune of not being able to participate, or remember directly these formative events as it relates to and makes significant in those very minded entities that value the noblilty of the contributions and sacrifices that our group mind of billions made in the cause of advancement of all minded entities! Including individual minded personalities! That means You! :P
(* Some of these words will be hard for humans to pronounce, see below for a brief tutorial on pronuncing K'ryllgian)
Anywho...
You hatch, you have to jump out, you are only given so much time, or the blarnox eats you.
It's that simple.
Blarnox almost never eat unhatced eggs, and when they do, we take this as signifcator in our "religious" understanding of what motivates the b'lrnxz to act in such a way. (we go ooOOoo and let it happen)
Anywho...Because of our filtration process, we had amost no physical or mental defectives on Gl' tcha. Or so we (as a group mind) thought.
The larger story concerns this:
Being what happened in Kr'rylgy's systems of 100+ planets during those most tumultous times in our history where the individual struggled with hive for mastery and determination, where billions died, and trillions were tried - in the false courtrooms of so called hive justice, then corrupted by dark adepts who perverted our superior forms to suit the enslavement of our trusted friends, this was by far the most heinous crime Syzyx has ever known.
My participation in this is to my everlasting shame, and a lesson to all who confront these same problems of primitive naivite' in the face of devious cosmic intelligence.
Hopefully I can spare someone, somewhere, the agony which a whole galactic sector eventually suffered under.

****
If we make our leaps, we find food, and our childminds are slowly and with great precision, guided, tested, and honed untill we stand empowered to our own whetting, then gradually ,
( and what we thought was thourghly) our minds are integrated into the great and amazing group mind of our species.

(Syzyx's larger story, of which this is but a preliminatry introduction, will hopefully be transcribed for the benefit of one or more salvable souls of this current evolutionatry epoch.)

This is a process, and much like the birth pits, must be mastered progressivly. Can you imagine growing up a child in the army all your life? well this is a gross comparison to what we were. we need no cell phone!, no radios! no commanding officers!... we functiond way better than your ants... instantaneous reaction at the 'speed of thought'. think swarming, flocking, or flash mobs with zero time lag.
In our culture, if you can call it that (note: sarcasm), the politics were rather complex,
We were families, but our fierce nature led us to develop the birthing pits, and to qualify all who would advance in any way with the same fierceness that first distinguished our phenotype superior between the hammer and the anvil of our evolutionary forging.
We became, over millions of years, greater than that. we learned telepathy as you call it but a higher form which you have no accurate names for... (oh wait i forgot where i was for a second... The force! duh)

As we mastered our elements and reaped the harvest of liberty from gravitational restraints, we moved out, with a mind to co-operate, like benevolent Borg, moving in the nearby vicinity to our local systems, never more that a ight year or two from K'rylgya.
This presented problems on so many levels.. For groupmind had not concurrently developed as much as we had hoped or speculated egotisticlly. (Because we were so badass, so we just figured that there must be other badasses out there and if you are not badass, then we see this, and feel sorry for you, so we will help you.) This at first seemed just fine. everybody was happy, win - win.
But as the necessities for a focalized representation increased with our outward expansion into a densely inhabited galactic arm, and the increasing requirement to be represented by small groups, or even by single individuals! :-o A few of our undetectably dark envoys chose DELIBERATELY not to cleanse their private minds of the dark and selfish nature! (The 'reptile mind' of your science. (some of us called it the 'amphibian mind' back then lol.)
These ones, Who learned through the dark arts of individuality (That's what we saw them as at that time) to hide parts of thier minds from us, presumed to make deals with, and offer up a deceptive peace to many of our trusting neighbors.

And then, in a series of heinous thoughtcrimes, and in an act of planetarily fatal betrayal,
They "Condescended to make brutal war upon so many of our unsuspecting allies, and our own peoples"!

Many were those ensnared! Many who had comitted themselves en masse to leave our homeworld, and humbly serve the many wisdom-hungry planets, thereon to dispense a 'superior' wisdom, as to the organising and integration of hive mentality in worlds populated by individuals! The disaterous resulst are still being remediated!
Notwithstanding that we were simultaneously wrestling internally at that time with the great betrayal, the mental tribulations threw the system into chaos, and multitudinous missions and envoys having to do with improving and bolstering the lot of hundreds of planets (as well as our own), were compromised by rampant corruprion, and those who were grateful, but naieve, and mistakenly became dependent on the 'benevovelent friends from K'rylgis' (even if they can't pronounce it.) were decieved and ensnared! Brainwashed by thier superors to purport our supposedly higher ideas and ideals! and alter the natural course of those planets we deemed sufficiently progressed to adopt our ancient and valuably ascendant culture! Mleh.
Our veiled darxide stripped them of the numerous planetary resources that these worlds had held for thousands of years as a sacred trust! Including thier own citizens! And violated binding agreement(s) to their own hard won planetary alliances!

This caused a heap of problems that millions of normally innocent reptoids, living their harmonius, pastoral lives on the many worlds of our system, and constituting the bulk of the 'processing power' of our evolved and normally aggressivly peaceful hive mind got drawn into into and implicated in thoughtcrimes that not only raped the system, it forever destroyed the naive concept that just lending a hand or donating to a particular charity will save you from more powerful darxide forces.

*******************************************************************************

Krylgians everywhere rallied to the light during the times of the great mental battle that raged within out hive mind for those 10 crucial days. But we of the light eventually rallied, and purged group mind of selfish cells. But this story, and its recalling, and retelling...and the relating of the story to human type (non-hive) minds shall be related in more fullness in due time.

For now it has been my priviledge to elucidate a fragment of the perhaps imaginary story of the "Birth of Syzyx". One chapter in the longer story that would become "The Life of Syzyx" Which would be but one miniscule page in the book of Kr'ylgya , which you are extremely unlikely to know of. If anyone else should have a far-memory of these tumultous times, please contribute.

Interesting topic, I hadn't thought about this in a very long time so it was cool to piece it back together again in my mind.

My father was obsessed in the rise of tech in its early days. The first time I remember sitting at the keyboard to play a game was actually X-WIng way back in 1993. I had accidentally been exposed to Return of the Jedi around this time, so anything Star Wars from that point on I obsessed over. Fast forward to around 1997 with the release of Dark Forces II Jedi Knight. The internet was in its infancy but Lucas Arts had teamed up with the MSN Gaming Zone to bring my first experience with online gaming. Naturally I choose the only name my totally cool and awesome 11 year old self would ever need, SuperDude. All I can gather is this name was obvious to me since I was a dude and apparently a super dude. I used SuperDude for the entire four years I played JK1.

During the time I was playing JK1, my father introduced me to yet another online game that ended up taking up a lot of my time. I remember firing up Ultima Online the first time and it asking me for a user name and password for my account. Having never seen anything like that I asked my dad for a name. He immediately said "Baron Zemo". I remember being amazed he just so quickly rolled that off the top of his head and entered it in. To my surprise, the next screen asked me to create a character and being the young kid I was I didn't realize I could use the same name again for the character. I entered in X-Death, the antagonist for Final Fantasy 5. Some spell it ExDeath, but I always stuck with the X-Death. Over time, the name became a nickname for a larger full name for the character, Alucard 'X-Death' Tepes. I expanded upon this character for at least seven years, making this the inspiration for the name in Jedi Academy.

I pulled the name Alucard from Castlevania Symphony of the Night, a game I still fire up on the old playstation at least once a year. The name Tepes is straight from the Vlad the Impaler/Dracula tale. I do enjoy Hellsing, but I didn't have any knowledge of Hellsing until many years later.

When I wasn't playing UO, I would play Jedi Outcast. At the time of outcast release, I had developed a story for my X-Death character for at least two years. My first name in Outcast was X-Death, I joined JU, or Jedi United, my first clan. People eventually just started calling me X, so one day I decided to switch it to simply X. For some reason people just didn't like the change at all, I dunno if it was because I was getting older at this point, but after my clan mates expressed their disgust that's when I switched it to Alucard*

Not the most interesting story, but that's the origin of my name. Ive been Alucard so long the thought of changing it now just isn't gonna happen. My only regret is never resurrecting the glory that was SuperDude.

lol, just kidding. Thanks for reading my tale.

Origingally went for Magikarp the most badass of all pokemon, but then I discovered model sizes and the annoying jawa skin everybody loves. Later on I changed my name from magikarp to jawa during my first application, when I failed to get in I remember Jawfins kind word's saying my name was boring and the forum already had enough jawa's. So I thought about that for a while thinking if I could change, even asked around for name suggestions, I got a lot of suggestions but nothing really spoke to me. When I got my second invite I really hoped to change my name so I wouldn't be labled as that guy with the boring name, In the end everyone just told me to keep ''Jawa'' cause it's what I was most well known as and it suited me.

So that's why I still have this name and wouldn't change it anytime soon

 #149943  by Yama

Well Yama was my dad's first dog's name. (dogs are important in my family three generations of military dog trainers)
So out of the kindness of his heart he thought he should name his son after his dog (thanks dad) thank god my mom stepped in and gave me a decent name. Dad kinda won tho as he gave it to me still as a middle name. The first game i ever played online was Outcast and I used Yama as I'm not overly bright and coudn't think of anything new. Sidenote; Yama is a hindu god of death too so that's pretty badass and lends to my street cred.

Why is my name Sakito/Yui? Ones a JA+ name, and one is base.

Why Sakito?
The man is awesome! He's a pretty good guitarist
Image

He shoots with the oddest things and doesn't care because he's just that way.
Image

He's pretty talented, at a lot of things, which I can relate to. (Yes I did buy his guitar and it's in my latest video on my youtube XD)
Image

Why Yui?
Because I love dictating people. And leading a bunch of people. Just like she does with her audience.
Image

I love being the center of attention in everything that I do. That includes being the front-woman of my band.
Image

I may look and dress like an evil person. But once you know me. You know I can't possibly do true evilness. This is how I relate to Yui.
Image

And that my friends is why your friend Asuka has the IGN in JKA
Sakito and Yui

I love how no one can afford to comment... But I didn't want to leave Uscari or anyone else hanging or let them think I was witholding information.
So all slaves are hereby freed, and nobody owes me a million doll hairs.

Here's another random installment in the "Syzyx Narratives"

[Syzyx monolog]

What you poor apes took as an attack has roots in a far distant time.
(A long time ago in a solar system which your planet still belongs to):
So we heard some (radio) noises, coming from a solar system nearby, and so we looked , cuz we heard some crazy screechings.
"Should we go take a look and see how they're doing?"
It was a military code from a planet where war was the way of life... They developed quickly and we were hot for battle as well.
Oh look warring frogs! oooOOoo
We looked and were like: "Oh man they think they know battle? Let's make an example" Haha!
These ones could not concieve of the treachery and hardening we lived thru.
Have they been battle hardened since birth? No.
Is their culture millions of years old? No.
So, anywho, We were like: What should we do with, or how could we harness such an obvious source of energy and prosperity for a basking species such as ourselves???
It was suggested we conquer them, and make slaves of these primitive amphibians.
This was not well recieved at first, so we waited several thousands of years.
Other ones, who were rebellious (to our lame system) tried to send emmisaries and ambassadorial messengers, but because of thier power, and the encouragement of it's abuse they (and consequently us) were quickly and unavoidably seen as gods.
Many of us were so mentally developed that we could 'think' a frogperson (or even a whole frog army to death)...
Think about it!
So these power drunk individuals portrayed thier individuals and commanders (us) as a hierarchy of Gods.
Our little heard from representitives transformed our image and more grievously our practices on your minor worlds in our abscence!, whilst we were engaged in far greater conquests and escapades to notice.
Until that time 12,500 of your years ago, when your world and several other of our 'minor possesions' once again came into the limelight, somewhat due to your unpredictbly rapid evolution, and what that meant for our future plans for what we thought would be such an easy and ancillary conquest.
So, anywho, Once again, We were like: What should we do with, or how could we harness such an obvious source of energy and prosperity for a basking species such as ourselves???
Our custodial remnant, comprised of not the most stalwart of our command (hey, we had to send our shell shocked, ptsd, and soon to be retirees somewhere!)
But due to a lack of oversight, These somewhat abandoned servants chose to politicize us as gods and establish physical rule over the planetary inhabitants, who would literally die to serve thier gods. this led to a bunch of huge pyramids, other public works, and hoards of dead slaves.
This played out over many centuries on your planet, but early on it became clear to us all, rebels and loyalists alike: that you humans were not evolved enough to withstand our prescence and personalities without making us into gods.
This is always a problem with cultures having divergent evolutionary trajectories, and momentums.
* * * ***************
We had long term interests in this system and during our heydey your world was of little value except for the precious minerals we could mine there.
We moved on to occupy and subjegate some nearby spheres.
**********************
The point of this is that:
WE had been here before, to your system.
***********************
It was during that epoch when primitive reptiles ruled your world.
But evolution had produced some fine and acceptable creatures upon two of your neighboring planets!
Some of these events took place millions of your years ago on a planet your historians call Maldek. This is not and shall never be what we called it. All that remains of this world are the remnants of one catastrophic battle! - Only the 'astroid belt' remains as a testimony to our awesome power of war in those times.
The scant evidence of the remnants of life, and the general condition of the planet you call Mars are also a stark testimony to the destructive power of some of the later interplanetary wars we waged!
We are truly sorry for this, and in the healing and reparation of this, our culture has suffered a great deal.(our own homeworld destroyed)
Be that as it is, We did, indirectly positively influence a portion of your historical culture and its mythology, as well as significant cultural and evolutionary ferments.
By our conquereing neighboring worlds, it allowed us, our civilization, to leave behind a legacy of info that would have otherwise been unavailabe to your world! (due to the destruction of its primary source, our homeworld)
Incidently, in the conquereing, our science left you a lasting genetic stigma. Not for better or for worse as it seems. Yes some of you humans have a tad more reptilian genes than otheres of your kind!
A long narrative indeed it would be, if I were to attempt accurately to unfold to your primitive but enquiring earth mortal minds the details and vicissitudes of those days! And the lessons which both our cultures could learn from our mistakes!
This is how it should always be! But the excigencies of the Angelic revolt in your system 500,000 years ago caused mass pandemonium, and is still to be adjudicated!
Therefore we all must await the decrees of Finality, and continue in the physical challenges of evolution without heavenly represetitives on these, several of the 37 (out of 619) worlds of this system which were deprived (due to the rebellion) of thier designated quota of angelic superbeings.
************************
And in relation to earth humans living now, what advice would I give them to aid them in the immediate future?
*******
The matrix you create, and the problems you will have to deal with in the coming times, will utterly befuddle the MATERIAL mind!
So I suggest that you get right with the Universe!
and the mindedness of that universe... which means:
Get right with your God! (if you have one)
And if you don't, get one ASAP.
(So as to facilitate your speedy transition into the midlan realms, prepratory to embarcation upon the further eternal journey of gaining heavenly ascension and achieving bona fide divine status on Paradise.)
To the gods, we are all worth saving.

You should put this in the writers corner, it can be immortalized forever ^^

I named myself after this bass guitar:

That beauty is an Epiphone Thunderbird. I own one but it's now in the cave of my mom's house in France. I thought Thunderbird was just a kickass name and decided to go with it while researching the name. I saw it was also the name of an excellent mailing program.

It is also the name of large birds. Those creatures were highly regarded by Native Americans tribes for their massive wingspan and were subjects of mythologies. Nowadays, if you ever see one of these, you are a lucky person.

Its also the name of the US Air Force's Elite aerial demonstrator/flying team. Like the Blue Angels for the Navy. They appear at air shows all over the world at various times. I've seen them in person before. They put on an awesome show. :)

I'm liking all the different stories.

@Alucard, Does the name come from somewhere? or mean something an a language? sorry i'm a lil slow.

@Thunderbird, Lol I could have been Jazz. (My '83 Fender bass). But if it was any guitar I would name myself Travis Bean.

@Lurch I saw the Blue Angels at the Reno Air races when I was a kid.

@ Pantheon = Group of many Gods.
I can't 'make' anyone read anything, but you read details of Syzyx, reptoid from the ancient past.
I don't jeapordise my ablilty to write this stuff down by concerning myself with distractions, like the material's truth or falsehood. Just to get it out, and into notepad or wordpad is a blessing because it makes more room in my head for new stuff. :p
Perhaps with more time I can edit and expand this story to be more fluid and understandable.
Joan Grant introduced me to the term: Far Memories. In her book Winged Pharaoh, she recalls intimate details of life in ancient Egypt.
I have a feeling this is what is happening when I start to write this type of story. Whether or not it really happened? I have no idea, and no way to prove or disprove any of it. But it's gratifying to be able to do it. I never believed in past lives and certainly not transmigration of the soul through animals. However, this far memory thing is fascinating. What do you think?
Yeah writers corner... ( I never considered my self a writer, or it's not someting I ever wanted to do or become.)

Those last two installments kind of explained where my JA name came from, and many extraneous details. But If anything more comes out about this ancient reptoid, I'll copy and past all of it together and throw it in writers corner like Lurch suggested.

Just one thing from the Syz:
When we piloted out crafts by mental telepathy, you look within and 'see' a polygon. the sides of which represnt control surfaces and ship functions. by metally rotating these polygons, they give or receive thought and quasivisual information. Like thinking at a rotating cube or more often a star tetrahedron that changes colors and has some symbols in, on, and hovering around it.
And this allows the pilot to much more easily have the solid mental focus required to 'motivate' the craft to where we wanted to go.

Keep this thread going! I would like to know all the KR names and where they came from!

My older sister owned a Calico cat she named Skye. Skye lived to almost 20 years old. She passed away about a year ago. My sister was very heartbroken about it. That cat was a great friend to her. She's badly missed by myself, my 2 sisters and my niece. May she rest in peace.

Samurai X is a humble tribute to my first master in this game, 10 years ago, when I was playing RPG. He used to be called Kenshin, that in turn is a reference of the anime "Rurouni Kenshin". This anime is called "Samurai X" in Brazil, so... I took it :D

A long time ago I use the name Dayo, that stands for YODA -> YO DA - > DA YO -> Dayo
