Hi, I have been banned twice on this server and don't know the reason behind it. I've respected the rules and mostly just like to ffa , sorry if i've offended anyone but i'm only trying to play the game.

hi again and thanks for the welcome. It would be nice to be unbanned though. I don't know who you think i am so i'm going to tell you. I come from the long lost land of jk2, just bought and started playing jka less than a month ago so i really don't understand why i'm on your range of known offenders. I generally just keep to myself , rarely talk and mostly just want to play against actual human beings.

This was nothing against you personally, Unknown. Your ISP just simply gave you an IP that once belonged to a neighboring troublemaker to you. You're not rotten to us, just the IP you were given to connect was

I guess you're not to know, but your ISP changed your IP again. Most people don't notice this. The thing is, they shifted your IP into another range that was banned. I lifted that range too. It would seem less than polite people live in your area.

well this ip is orignally from glasgow but now i'm in edinburgh, just moved the connection here and tbh i don't know if the ip's changed or even if the ip range is the same in all uk, anyway loosen my firewall, proxy my connection, we can arrange an ip meeting between my ip and your server so my ip can personally apologise for the sins of his closest neighbour(i have no clue how range bans work) but above all , please unban me...

Your ISP has changed your IP yet again... (something Falcon could have noticed if she clicked the little (i) over your post) which is why it is refiring. I'm sorry there is no other way around than posting here and I lift the new range its dumped you in. This will start thinning out soon enough.

For your info you can check http://www.getip.com/ to get your WAN IP - and see that your ISP is constantly changing it (i.e. every 1 or 2 days).

well, at least i got to play 2 days without seeing "You are banned from this server", my isp was recently hacked (Talk Talk) so it would make sense they use proxies,you must have a lot of ip ranges banned if i constantly shift into the wrong one, judging by the constant lag spiking i think the ip is changing every 5 minutes ..maybe I should get a new isp, btw I'm banned again

Bah, sorry about that, I thought I got all the possible ranges you could be in (it's up to 20 now). The thing is, the server is self-learning and it tracks known offenders and identifies their ranges. Crossover rarely happens but it can. I've removed 5 more ranges around your latest IP which is nothing like the previous sets your ISP has given you. Should be near clear now!! Sorry again.
