I've been staying out of this topic for a while, but I'd just like to point something out - all companies are required by law to give certain information to the government. Google, however, along with various other big-name companies are heavily against certain aspects of information sharing. If you don't like that - don't use the internet. Unfortunately the sources (notice "source" is plural) from which I know this I do not have anymore, but if you want I can try and find them. Now I'm not saying this video is wrong, I didn't feel like watching it, just don't base your entire view of something off a YouTube video.
If it means that they're going to stop a bombing, war, attack, whatever - then I'm okay with it.
"But my privacy, wah wah wah-"
No one cares about the fact that you got a nose job, go to strange websites, buy adult sized baby clothes, have an addiction to canned green beans, blah blah blah. Again, the internet is what you make out of it - if you're using it, you have to understand there may be consequences.
