Greetings.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a good method where three to four individuals could work on a single paper at once. (I.e. whenever Person A writes something, Person B will automatically get what A wrote)

It is a pain to put together 4 individual papers. Having a single collaborative paper would be more efficient.

Appreciate it.

I'm curious what is this for?

Depends on what the paper is about, and what information the gorup of people has.

I don't see how this could possibly depend on content in the paper... :P

Doesn't Google Docs now have this feature?

Was thinking the same thing myself, what you want sounds just like version control in programming - which is rather serious work, and very exacting. I just wasn't sure if it could be applied to creative writing.

Yeah, that would work.
At least it would prevent two people that are working on the same document to "upload" at the same time, having one overwriting the other.

If you know of such a system for documents (Not sure how google doc does it, I am having trouble working with more people on it... needs more testing).

The reason I want something like this, is because I have begun writing a GDD (Game design document) regarding an MMORTS game.
I have no doubt that if this will be done, that it will be a success. THis is why I will, given enough support by trusted individuals, start a game development company. Luckily, I am a student at a college where I study CS with alot of friends interested in game engineering, programming and artistic design. I could probably get a group of people to help me for free! (It would be a project with possibility to learn a lot in their respective fields) :)

But shh, its a secret.

I know a little CS, and Software Engineering and technical writing and developing applications and games, so hit me up if you want a sounding board :)

I appreciate that. You may hear from me in the future, but not today. I need to rest - been working for hours and I am tired. Being tired affect how I look at things. :S
