Well, I know that Rugg and I have been playing through this every now and then whenever we feel up to it (which for me has been a lot more common lately).

Personally, I feel that this is a great MMO that is much better than it was at release. Now, I'm not saying it was bad at release, but the bugs that came with them rushing it out the door definitely tarnished it. However, a lot of those bugs have been fixed and the game has been optimized to run A LOT better on lower-power machines.

The game play is simply fantastic to me. Though you could pull in the argument that all you're doing is hitting buttons constantly (which duh, that's what we do in most games ;) ) it keeps the excitement high and your attention focused. There is absolutely no auto-attack, unlike WoW, which I love to death because you can't just drudge through levels to grind up, you actually have to focus on the game.

The Star Wars mythos is even pretty nice too, though I know quite a few of you are upset that this essentially took away from what you believed to be KotOR 3. However, the Jedi Knight story line is rumored to have been essentially what KotOR would have been. Even the other characters have pretty fantastic over-arching stories that keep you invested in them. The Trooper's are commanders of their own squadron that must keep the peace. The Sith Warrior and Inquisitor are after their own legacies and power like Sith do. The Imperial Agent is James Bond and the Smuggler is pretty much just a goofball after fame and fortune.

So for those of you who are interested, I wouldn't definitely recommend picking it up for the first time or again. The game is free to play and though there do seem to be quite a few restrictions against the free players, it doesn't completely detract from the experience and your ability to play. I do think they have fixed the system as Rugg and I have been able to go through pretty comparatively, me having a subscription and Rugg being F2P.

In fact, I was even tempted to make a Steam Game Night out of this. Possibly having us all in Skype, getting off the beginning worlds and then just going through quests, doing flashpoints, and killing all the world bosses like the true Knights Reborn that we are, but that's just an idea at this point.

For those of you that would like to join Rugg or I on our adventures, you can reach out to us on Steam (Necros1215 wwiifreak420) or Skype (Necros1215 or rugg420). We play on The Ebon Hawk server and both are playing Jedi Knight's right now, though I have a character for every single class if necessary.

tl;dr SWTOR is actually a pretty fascinating game that I think you all should give a try now that it is F2P and have friends to play it with ;)

I played World of Warcraft for years and I have to be honest MMO's simply are not a experience I'm going to touch ever again even if I have a 60 foot barge pole. Not reflecting of course on anyone else's enjoyment of these games but I personally find them a waste of my time that can be spent doing many fun and productive things such as Tang Soo Do and my Chef's training.

I found myself getting quite addicted and heading towards an "Elitist" style of game play which of course led me to staying up all hours and playing the game all day.

My only advice is that if your going to play Massive multiplayer online games is that you make sure that they do not take major priority in your life as life is extremly precious and should not be thrown away on such means if avoidable.

Completed the game (main quest + max level). It got boring REALLY fast. Not to mention PvP was one sided (Sith won 9 out of 10, most of the time).
Its a really good game (for the story) though.

If by horrible, you mean ten times better, then yes. Yes it did.
