Loved that glitch with the other jet while you were landing!

Nice flying though man.

Haha thanks man! Honestly, when making these vids I need to be the best pilot possible, otherwise I mean, it'll lower the ''looks'' of my skill, even though my skill is technically very high and experienced... If I make 1 little mistake, I have to redo the entire thing over again till I get it right. Kinda sucks sometimes, but when everything goes well like it did tonight and will in future vids, it is fun to make :)

good job man sequel?

Epic long post, cannot compute.

/ontopic: As proven on KR1, I should not be put into a pilot's seat!

Epic.

Very neat.

I think you sent me a link to this a while back, maybe we could do something. I think I used this simulator at a camp one time, but it wasn't anything intense just some dogfights and such

Ok, it will take a while for me to set this up BUT I AM replacing this video with a better quality one, it is in the day time so there is no BRIGHTNESS issues, it is perfect, and I think it's gonna be awesome! Please give me about an hour and a half or so to get it saved, and uploaded... I'm flying the F-15 Eagle ;)

Nice flying once again! I thought you were going to crash into flight lead there for a minute though xD

lol nah, the key to flying in formation, is many things, but the most important are Reaction, Timing, Speed, Altitude, Attitude (Angle Of Attack), Banking Degrees, but the MOST IMPORTANT of all is: Patience!!!

just ordered the gold edition for 25 bucks on amazon!

YAY!!!! I hope you enjoy it man!!! It is really worth getting! Keep in mind tho, you wont be able to fly insane big jets just yet "Professionally" do to the difficulty, I can teach you VFR and IFR conditions and how to fly in them, but that will take lots of time and practice. Even though I can train you, it is still difficult to master... If you would ask me, I personally HIGHLY recommend starting with something VERY simple, such as a Cessna 172, it is a really good trainer prop, and teaches you the basics of how to fly any type of plane, So I feel that starting you out with a Cessna 172 FIRST, is the best route for you to take, and work up to airliners, kinda like a "Goal System" :)

Nice flying with that Raptor. But why does it glitch so much? xD

The reason the other planes are glitching is cause they aren't npc's whereas actual recordings of me flying them previously. So basically the reason it takes me so long to make these vids, is because I need to first fly as a single aircraft, fly my route, wherever I want to go, remember the altitude, all that stuff, then land and w/e, then save it. Then get into another plane, (In this case the wingman usually) and have to fly that route in close formation with that recorded aircraft. FS Flight Recorder has an option to "Play As Traffic" meaning you can not only play your recorded flight, but still fly as well, while that recorded flight is being played! So that allows me to fly formations :) Technically, these aren't really wingmen at all, rather just recordings of me flying with the recorded aircraft, so in turn, you could call it Flight Lead and Wingmen. THEN, I have to EDIT the video with Windows Movie Maker. I just made a new video but it took me an hour and a half just to edit the dang thing cause the sounds were switching places in the video. This video is the Russian MIG-29, so the ATC is in Russian. I had to translate it with subtitles for you, which also is difficult to do... It will be up tomorrow sometime. And this is the most CRAZY vid I made so far, because its in IFR weather or extremely bad weather, the farthest you can see is 3 miles, sounds like alot, but when you are in the air, it's nothing... Trust me! Even with over 9,000 flying hours in this simulator in all sorts of places and weather and stuff, it is EXTREMELY hard to fly in IFR weather, this video I made was extremely difficult just flying in it cause I had to use my instruments ONLY to see. It's INSANE! You will see what I mean when watching the video and I'm in the air, ur gonna be like "What? How is this even possible?" xD

Currently working on a Night Flying video escorting a random airliner. I dont know what type of plane I will be flying or be escorting yet, however the video is in the making. It will be up soon, I for sure will have it up by the time the weekend is over... OH! And to all of you who are wondering who is enemy and who is my ally. Well, I havent chose an enemy yet since I've not made any combat vids lately, but Russia and the USA are allies in my flight logs. :)

I am sorta running out of ideas, if you guys think of any sort of video I can make, tell me, I'm good with Formation Flying, Navigation tutorials, anything really... I'll do my best to make it...

Can you do actual dogfights with the simulator? That's what we did at the camp I went to.

 #107251  by Shinobi

@MasterM, NOTE! FSX was NOT made or designed for Combat!!! In fact, no matter which version of FSX you get, (Deluxe, Gold Edition, Anything), NONE of them come with default military fighters or missions, The way to start is to buy an expansion pack called FSX Acceleration. If you get the Gold Edition however, you get the FSX Deluxe (Best Version), AND FSX Acceleration for 50 bucks, rather than getting FSX alone for 40, and then paying another 30 later for FSX Acceleration...FSX Acceleration gives you Carrier Tutorial missions and practices, and gives you the EH-101 Military Helicopter and the F-18 Hornet, (See link at bottom for Pictures)... However, I have modded yet this simulation to be able to do combat, I have payed literally 100 dollars (and keep in mind I am very poor), for addons for FSX, including Weapons, Radar, HUD's, Virtual Cockpits, Planes, and Missions, so please respect this fact! So anywho, I can fly combat now! Yes, indeed I can do dogfights and combat, the ONLY problem with that is is that it will take me extremely long to make, if you want it tho, I will go out of my way to make some! :) I DID work on an intercept video, having a Eurofighter Typhoon do some crazy stunts over Vandenberg AFB, I took 2 F-16's up, and intercepted it and escorted it to landing immediately... I just thought of actually making like an "Air Show" type video, it will be very hard, but if I can pull it off, you guys should love it! I have both the Thunderbird textures for my F-16's and the Blue Angels (Comes with Acceleration). So I think I'll try pulling that one off first because it will truly test my skill in formation flying...I can make a combat video one though, they're very fun to make, again, just takes lots of work...

In case you guys are curious about what these aircraft look like, here is a link...

F-18 Hornet (Texture addon, this is what the PLANE looks like, you will NOT get this paint job in Acceleration, if you want it, I can give you a link for a download): http://flyawaysimulation.com/media/imag ... r-fsx1.jpg

I likes it!!!!!

Lol, thanks Gollum :) I try my best given the fact I am not a real pilot, let alone a fighter pilot :P, Put me in an F-16 tho, and I'll fly every ounce of fuel out of it and pull some G's. (9 G's is the maximum G capability and strength for the F-16 Falcon). xD

NOTE! I have noticed that the Sounds for my jets are very realistic, HOWEVER, the TIME that they are being executed is WAY off. Therefore, I am going to TRY to do my BEST at fixing this problem to enhance the Realistic effects of the sounds...I don't know if I will even be able to do this AT ALL. But I will research and do my best to figure it out. I again do NOT know if I am able to do this, this is a very hard program to mod, and the sounds I feel is one of the hardest. If any one knows anything about sound editing, that understands ''Where and When'' the sounds will be executed in orientation of the aircraft. Or that feel that they possibly may be able to help, that help will be MUCH appreciated... If any one knows anything about sound editing, please let me know. I want to enhance the realism of the sounds to make FSX Awesome. Thank You.
