Hey guys, I noticed a lot of you are full -grown adults who can totally connect with me about what I'm hoping to discuss. When I was 6, my mom got Star Wars Jedi KNIGHT: Dark Forces 2. After that wonderful day in 2003, I took turns playing that game with my brother for countless hours. I loved that game then and still love it today, however, its a miracle I could play that game of all and I was WAY too young to get the original dark forces. My point is that I only played what I'm pretty sure is 3/4 of the JK series(academy, df 2, and outcast). I wanna ask if there's any other cool stuff about the series that you guys could tell me or relate to me about. [/list]

i played DF1 on ps1 lol. not much there but the game. it was cool and really broke grounds for DF2 and its expansion Mysteries of the Sith. in DF2 we were introduced to more stealth like missions and the Purple and Orange lightsaber. i cant recall if the orange was in DF1 or not its been ages. character and story development really took place in those games. a really good background of Kyle Katarn and his struggles with the darkside, brought to light in Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast. From then on, im sure you know. but i would play DF1 and DF2 again if i had them. gawd i sound old

I would just spawn a load of jedi and have them face a swarm of rancors. Best way to waste time as an 11 year old.

massive reenactments of the jedi/sith war... feeding thousands of roshes to rancors... spawning luke and kyle to fight along side me in SP...

I always played JKA on the original xbox until I discovered it on steam about a month and a half ago. I remember playing dark forces on the Ps1 as well.

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II
Star Wars - Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith
Star Wars - Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcasst
Star Wars - Jedi Knight III: Jedi Academy

I own all of these and I never finished any of them except Academy. Imo Dark Forces 1 and 2 didn't age very well, sith isn't as polished as Outcast and Academy and the initial gun levels in Outcast were so boring and frustrating that I stopped playing. I intend to stop being a pick butt about these games and finish them someday but my interest in them never got me through the first few levels of each game.

Outcast was/is great to play. I still play it. Mucho FUN!!!!
I did play DF2 and MOTS but I no longer have those games. But they were good for their time. And speaking of old, I was 20 when the first Star Wars movie came out in 1977.
