Hi fellow clan mates,

Recently i have a school project and we are working on the topic "Euthanasia is a right choice". For the start of the presentation, my group has decided of using pics of terminal diseases and a story as a 'hook' to capture the audience attention but unfortunatly we can't find any till now. The web offers only ppls' point of views and not real life stories. Even if there was, it was against the topic sentence.

So i'm now seeking for anyone's assistance. If u do know of any stories or did have such experience( which i really hope u have not ), do u mind sharing it with me? Thanks lots in advance.

Your sincerely,
Vague

(sry for posting 2 similar posts, it's to get as many ppls' attention as possible. )

I watched an episode of House where a guy wanted House to assist in his death... other than that, I don't know if you're gonna find a lot of uthanasia stories unless it's from doctors, since most people end up dying.

I can help you out if you want. I have done alot of work in my religious education lessons regarding Euthanasia. I can possibly send you some of the work I have done that you can use to go towards your own obviously not copy ;).

Anyway, the 'best' and most informative case I could find was about Diane Pretty. You can find alot of information here:

http://www.spucscotland.org/education/s ... retty.html

and also BBC news article about her death:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/1983457.stm

She was a truely remarkable women and im sure you can find alot of information about her and her case.

Another website that was helpful when I was researching was called "Dignity in Dying", their main moto is "Your life; your choice" and I strongly abide by it. Anyway, this has alot of 'real life stories' and I think thats exactly what your looking for. Im also sure many of you have mixed views but regardless the website is as followed:

http://www.dignityindying.org.uk/

Hope thats helpful :)

Pho~
