Old Habits Actually Dying Hard.

To my friends,
Throughout my stay here, my place in this family, I have realized a few things.
One: Making a mistake is like doing schoolwork without the books. It's meant to teach you something, flipping through the pages.
Two: Making that same mistake twice raises the question of what you are; the answer is a fool, flipping to the back of the book.
Three: Making that same mistake three times means simplicity itself; you're only worthy of the equally foolish, burning his books in a fireplace.
To my teacher,
You've taught me everything I know. Of this uncanny feat in being able to get through to me, these three things are known to me on my own.
One: The deserving isn't up to the learner. There is a reason he is still learning.
Two: The earning isn't up to the earner. There is a reason he is still without.
Three: The yearning isn't up to the crier. There is a reason he is still crying.
To my student,
You are gifted in the art of forgiveness. I am grateful beyond your wildest dreams. But in my dreams, you are much wilder beyond me. These words are the ones I leave to you.
One: Walk in the places where you do not swing your blade, for that is where your family is.
Two: Hold your future like you've already been there, for that is where you will find yourself.
Three: Never betray the ones who love you, for they will always do so.

Hiya,
I wrote that last night. A lot of it rings true to me, but it's also the last thing I'll ever post that really has any emotional value. I've learned from my mistakes, and I'm patient to not break them a fourth time.
I hope you guys like this. I put a lot of my care for this family in it. Hopefully one day I can prove my trust again.
Your friend,
Wind.
