Hello everyone! I decided to buy JKA on steam and re-visit you guys! But I'm having some problems being able to join. You see, I need JA+ to join the server, but it's confusing to install because of the fact that I downloaded it from Steam. Any suggestions?

Hey Chip! Good to see you again!
It's pretty much the same. Only difference is it's in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common I believe.

Good to see you are back in the game! Idk who you are but I will try to help you out!
Alright I am not at my computer so I can't give you an exact route but here is my guess for the installation
C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Jediacademy\mods
And you put it in that folder
If you are running 32 bit it will be
C:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\common\Jediacademy\mods
I don't think JA+ uses an installer but if it does tell it to send everything to that folder. Otherwise I can give you a proper path when I get home(If this is wrong).
Also you should be able to connect to the server regardless of whether or not you have JA+. Try going to "Add Favorite" in the server browser and put in the IP 108.178.55.80. Idk if you need the port number. Once it's Favorited try connecting. If it doesn't work open the console and look for any error messages if there are any post them back here and maybe we can help :D

Hello, idk much about steam but make sure that you have the 1.01 update for JK. That could be your problem.

OKay so I was close this is the path
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Academy\GameData
You will download JA+ unzip it then put the folder that should be named japlus into the gamedata folder! :D

Ah, well since I'm using a Mac, the situation is different. Even if I download the right mod files I still can't connect to a server.
