...or...gaming PC...whatever.

Anyways, I am trying to build a PC for the first time for gaming and y'know...that programming thing I like to do when I'm bored and sorta want to make money off of someday. So, here's to you my KR bretheren (more specfically, those with experience at building PCs and the hardware aspect of it all), tell me if this setup will work/not work and what I should fix or replace to make it better. Budget is about 1000 dollars, which I know is already past it but not by too much so that's fine. So yea, ktenx, halp :>

Ohhhh shiney.

Can't really help with hardware though, but you don't seem to be missing any important bits.

My Dad got me a new PC for Christmas that was build, probably under or at 1000 bucks. it has a 750w power supply, i5 core, 8 gigs of ram, two terabyte hard drives, Nvidia GTX 760 ddl, Xtreme something or other motherboard.

I'm not expert on the PC area, but I hope I helped a little.

Ive built two computers so far. Yes that will be good, but theres only one issue with it. You went $44 over budget!
Serious note, you are getting a good deal on those parts.

Oh, one suggestion which you can ignore, is looking at getting a small solid state drive to have your OS on: -

Blows the budget probably but if you're going for a nice engine you may as well have the wheels which can make the best use of it.
