I got into Hap Ki Do for a while, actually for about four years. I loved it. I would say It is more of a Sloth type of martial art, if were making animal references :P I liked it because I never had to scream. Even though it was encouraged, and every other style I've seen in tournaments and sparring, people yell at me. I just stare into their souls, and defend myself.

I've only been practicing tang soo do for about half a year ( Give or take a few months) But it really has given me a sense of discipline and patience. On the note of yelling i have to say i am quite a yeller hehe :-)

Neat choice, never experienced tang soo do in person. 6 years of Tae Kwon Do, thats the one i hold a black belt in and 2 (former since i dont compete anymore) national titles with the USSSA), also karate for 2 years (shotokan), along with Hapkido, Jujitsu, and a little ninjitsu but id like to learn more of the prev two.

Best of luck with your martial arts exp! Learn as much as you can!
