There is no shame in losing to Cloud, he has great skill and is unpredictable. But perhaps now and then you'll hear me complain about my high ping - so I decided to show you instead of telling you!

Let me talk you through it. This is a text book case of how to execute a delay. Note that I don't start it until just before I land, next I run away to time it's attack - I am running sideways, not backwards, directly away to keep the distance.

At a point well beyond maximum range I then get hit by Cloud's yellow swing, but undeterred I correctly time my move in, you'll see I am the closest to him as the saber goes right through him in it's principle part of the swing. This is because as far as the server is concerned he has already jumped clear even though we see him right there thus it misses.

This happens to me a lot! A classic is someone RDFAs me, I side-step, switch to blue, turn around and lunge them - then the server corrects my client and puts me under the dfa before I moved and I die >.<

My timing is immaculate, I blame the server!

I don't really have an excuse; I like being defeated >;3 (Didn't expect THAT curve ball, did you? ;o)

No, when Cloud and I duel, I take honor in the fact of it happening, beside the fact I learn way more being ripped in half, than I do not being ripped in half.

Basically, I try my best for the sake of a good duel

This happens to me all the time. I'll evade a red swing, and be the furthest thing from it, and take an enormous amount of damage anyways. /amfrustrate >.<

I only mentioned Cloud as he was the person I recorded this with. You actually get hit like I do? Being that far away and taking hits? I only ask because this only happens to me on high ping servers - I absolutely dominate on Australian servers, base or not.

That yellow ball is my body being hit, where the server is saying where I am.
I only mention this as everyone says it's the same for them - I just can't believe that.

As Kakashi said, this doesn't happen often, but it does happen. That distance is accurate, so yes. Same dealio

This short video was extracted from a recording that goes for 3 minutes. I just took a snippet out to demonstrate. In those 3 minutes hits like this happened about 12 times - in fact, almost everytime I was hit. My mis-hits happened about the same number of times. I got killed 3 times and killed Cloud once. If I had the time I could convert everyone of those events as a video to demonstrate this.

It may not happen often to you, but it happens to me non-stop.
