If I had 15 minutes for a presentation, talking about founding a new company/business, what should I talk about?
(This is roughly translated from Norwegian) (I don't have time to talk about EVERYTHING, but I want to add the most important parts of the early process)




- About the founder
--- What is a founder?
------ The personality of a founder
------ Why, how and when

- Knowledge of the founder
--- Do you know what you need to know?
--- Where to get knowledge
--- Personal abilities (knowing yourself)

- Businessplan
--- What is a businessplan?
--- Why do we need it?
--- Content of a businessplan (I will provide a generic template and talk about it here)

- Paperwork (this is where the legal process of founding a company start)
- Help with creating a business
- Summary



I will be adding a page where I talk about the types of companies we have in Norway, just haven't had time to add one yet.

Any input on what I should talk about is appreciated.

Unless I'm missing the point here, I'd of thought the product or service the business is to offer would the principle thing, but that's not listed. It would be then be the quality of the product or service, why it is unique or necessary.

Focus more on the business itself like jaw said.

Things to hit on: ( just an example)

What is the business' service?:
Where would you be able to start the business/ location: look at areas that r lacking the service.
How would you start the business?: 2 options, buy a pre existing company or aquire a loan
Size of business to start: start at a logical
How will u advertise ur business?
Where will you aquire skills necessary?
Where will find employees and how many?
How do you plan to keep ur business making profit?
Will your business be involved in the community? How?
Will your business benefit your community? How?
Will your business harm or help the local enviornment? (Its bs but its good publicity)
Will your business be involved in charitiies?


Hope this helps!! Remember think profits and benefitting a community to help build it and especially advertisement and good publicity!
