So, in January 2014, I'm able to go on an international internship or domestically in the US. I will get stipend $2500.

Places i was thinking of were:

London
Australia (summertime woo!)
Berlin or Hamburg
or Boston

Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly welcome and in demand! Reason I'm asking now is that the provost would have to start arranging things sometime this year.

Well, I'm partial to Australia myself but that's mainly because of the chance to meet Jawzors :D I would NOT want to go there in their summer though (I can barely stand the heat here; couldn't imagine it there >.<)

Other than that I'd say Germany would be a good choice. It would be worth it just for the food :D

Personally, i would say London :p

I know that you like the idea of moving to England in a few years, so having your internship in London, would give you a good idea of how England is.

I used to live in London when I was little! It was really cool, we got to see all the castle and stuff which was something I was in to... so that was always fun. And there ARE a lot of castle and cool stuff. Plus, as far as I've been told, it's dirt cheap to fly to other places in the area like Ireland. I met a girl the other day who went on an academic trip to London and she said it costed her about $15 to fly to Ireland and back.

I've been to Boston numerous times, and it's SUPER FUN - especially the aquariums and lake activities. Lots of night life.

I've always wanted to go Australia, just because I like the heat and I feel like it'd be fun :) I've also wanted to go to Germany... so maybe I'm not really much help at all here....

If I had to decide, I think I'd pick London. It's an entirely different place than around here.

Yep. I haven't been in London, yet. But looks as a beatiful place to be.

Very nice. I am planning to apply for internship in the US as well, however that will be ~2-3 years from now. :)

Please share your experiences when the time comes!
