So I've watched most of E3 this year, xbox conference sucked...alot. lol
Missed the Activision (I think it was) except to see NFS: Most Wanted, which was legit.
Now watching Ubisoft, and was just going to make discussion here on your thoughts about E3 and some of the games that came out.

Edit: I'm keeping update about my opinions on my twitter http://twitter.com/extremeAJ619

Double post.

Ubisoft just ended and...wow. Assassins Creed 3 looked amazing, I've never looked forward to anything so much in my life. Another game I really want is Watch Dogs which just premiered, it looks great, graphics and story line.

I really don't know how to describe it all, but farcry 3 was ok...but i guess I'd have to know the story, anyone else watch?

AC3, not really sure if I am going to even glance at it. Okay, it looks cool... and?... And?... All you fanboys and gals out there are going crazy over it... I have a feeling it'll end up being a great game just because of the idea it presents and themes it carries along with it (the cool factor). I just am skeptical like always as I tend to shy away from public opinion. This is why I think District 9 was a good movie - because there was never a sequel. It was filmed well and the story line was really entertaining. They're going to "Guitar Hero" the series, just like they did to NFS (which all now suck compared to the older ones).

NFS is going to suck and will continue to suck unless they step it up and bring something new to the table - which brings me to Forza Motorsport: Horizon. Yes, their idea has been done before and YES it is EXTREMELY successful - free world exploration. No, it's not Midnight Club LA all over again, it's better - it's Forza dammit. Purist graphics you'll get in any racing game. Better than Shift, better than Gran Turismo. If you're any sort of race genre fan you'll agree with me, especially because the physics and control is unmatched in any racing game. We all grew up with NFS, they were all great games (This I don't doubt) up until around 2007. Now they're dogfood :\ I'm really hostile towards this because of Forza (which is a much MUCH better racing game in a thousand ways. Gran Turismo failed because of Forza, it was also an excellent racing game until their most latest. You can't do crap compared to Forza.) I detest all new NFS games if I haven't made that point clear.

Far Cry 3 looks good, not really that big a fan of the series but meh. I wouldn't buy it.

The new CoD game coming out is kinda funny actually. They keep coming back every year with "new innovations" that should "reinvigorate the multiplayer experience". No, I am not a fanboy of CoD. No, my opinions are not biased, I intend to remain neutral. Yes I do own every CoD since MW (CoD4). I would not travel to the ends of the world just to buy the game, in fact I would do the opposite. The only reason I ever hate the game is because there's always someone who is better than you waiting there to ruin the day with that bullcrap-overpowered weapon. I don't care who you are or who you think you are because that's entirely true.

The new Devil May Cry looks fun, I played the previous one and it was pretty entertaining.

hmmmmmm im looking foward as playing like a new assassin in ac3 i think hes called conor and i agree with you key district 9 was an awesome movie but they are thinking to make a sequel but i would leave it like that if they do they will do it crappy like same thing happend with star wars the force unleashed i had the ps2 version and it was an awesome game but then the ps3 or Xbox360 version came out then ultimate sith edition then finally the second one came out wich was garbage it was a 45 min of gaming and they sayd the force and all other stuff will be much much more powerful but it wasnt it was just a fail in cod is also crap from MW1 then foward the mp experience is awful cuz of the level ups and all that but that is why i play cod2 its just basic weapons you dont have lvl up so someone can be much more powerful than you and the NFS i had pro street on ps2 it was fun then i got carbon for the pc i beat it once then i just never played it again

I havent been following E3 this year, but this took me by surprise, last I had heard, Ubisoft was being sued by a small time writer who claimed the AC games were rip-offs of his book (which I pirated and read.... it sucked, i cant rremember what the name was) in which the main character creates a machine to go back in time and VISIT his ancestors. Guess Ubisoft must have won.... on that note, i cant wait for it to get released either

Ok so, I know I could go on all day about MW and how it sucks, and such...but just to get clear on it.

It sucks. Black Ops 2 isn't even about any form of a true Black Operation. "The Future is Black"...if anybodies future is black, it's CoD's lol. I'm not saying much more of how it sucks anyways, but tbh the only thing to look forward to was zombies...but its still not worth it now.

Otherwise: The Nintendo Conference just ended, and honestly the WiiU doesn't look all that bad, but if I had a choice of the 3 consoles still, I'd choose PS3. WiiU would be better if it had better games on it, well maybe. I saw AC3, Mass Effect 3, Arkham City, and other few games good on it...but still. Luigi's Ghost Hunt Multi. looks kinda fun.

The 3DS was boring part of it all...js.

Sidenote: If I see one more Dance/Sing game I will kill the human race.

The original was acceptable, the new ones make me want to pull my hair out. You can go from first to last in a matter of seconds, regardless of skill level - and vice versa.

Dead Space 3 I'm really looking forward to, as well as Splinter Cell: Black List. I don't understand the fuss about Conviction or whatever the last one was, I forget. I really liked it, I even bought it for someone else which I never do. I;ve always been a fan of the Splinter Cell series. I think what I'd like to see more of though is the classic stealth-necessary moments (I think the last one lacked such elements). I did like hte multiplayer they put in, and I did NOT like the Multiplayer they took out (the one from Double Agent was really fun.)

So it takes more skill to maintain your position

@MasterM I'm not going to argue with you about this because you're probably the most stubborn person I know apart from my grandmother lol. But I must have my final words like always - unless you're at least one half of a lap further than everyone else in the game you're screwed if a blue shell comes up, regardless of skill level. There is no denying that.

@Alex, Yeah there are a lot. Many people consider the first ones to be the best... and I would agree to a certain degree. Yes, the older ones were definitely classics - no doubt there. Yes, the older ones were a LOT harder. The newer ones are more lenient and I think it's for one simple reason: They did this to modernize the game and make it more pick-up-able for other people. Of course there are harder difficulties, but they just can't compare. I like the newer ones just because the graphics are better, the game is smoother, and the gadgets are cooler. I do miss the old ones though. I don't think I'd ever return to them just because all the ones I have are for PS2 and PS2's (the older ones) were never made for HD TV's like mine so everything comes out really blown up and distorted.

Yeah, I always thought that was kind of cool, that you could be cruising along and suddenly get blown up and be in last. Then it takes more concentration and skill to win the next race(s) so that you still get first overall.

I would like everyone to see what he puts me through, based on that statement right there.

Anyways, ON TOPIC, Skyrim Dawngaurd looks beautiful. As does ARMA 3, Pikmin 3, and the new Tomb Raider.

I think what Mad meant to post was the actual trailer - for those who don't want to watch the full 10 minutes to see the game. :)

I probably won't get this game. Reminds me of Bioshock - I hated Bioshock because the action wasn't very fluid. In Dishonored, it looks to be just about the same - lots of opening menus to switch weapons. Ironically, this may be going against what I said before, but it looks really really easy.

I've been watching that one for a while, it looks almost good, but not quite. I'm more or less in agreement with Key about it.

E3 as a whole just seems sort of over hyped now. After the year(s?) that they cancelled it, it was never the same. When it came back it felt as if it was just a publicity stunt with no quality, in an attempt to go mainstream. And it seems to me that it get worse and worse every year.
