I was wondering if anyone know of a PROGRAM which sole purpose is to make sure a file(or more) are being downloaded.

When I download via the web-browser the files I download (when big) have a tendency to stop downloading. I want a program that FORCEFULLY attempts to continue the download, and makes sure I get the file downloaded.
