Computer...

I'm thinking of replacing this old, dusty PowerPC G4 Book with something sleeker, and preferably faster.

I have 4 in mind, but any suggestions are welcome.
Before you do anything, I want to make these 3 things clear;
1, I don't use my computer to play anything besides Jedi Academy. (I may get another game, but haven't decided yet)
2, The only other thing besides gaming is uploading photos and music, and surfing the web. And editing photos. >.>
3, I want nothing bulky, even though I probably wont go anywhere with it. >.>
That being said, here they are;
#1
Acer Aspire
#2
Comaq Presario [note; I said I didn't want a bulky one, but this got some good reviews.

]
#3
HP Netbook
#4
Macbook Air...

P.S: You have any other computer you'd suggest or you'd suggest your own computer? Please feel free ;o
P.P.S: I'm not going to decide until, oh, Christmas?

If money is no issue, go with the mac because why not? But if you want some nice power for half the price, go with the acer for sure.

Alienware may be a lil' too expensive. >.< And I don't know if it'll fit my needs for music and photography; I guess I should look into that though.

in my not so humble opinion mac is the best operating system out there, and the macbook air is light and easily portable so no bulkiness issue. Ive had an acer, which ran perfect, but ran into problems later on such as wireless failing and slowing down cause of viruses. Macs have very few viruses so that wont really be a problem. i would pick the mac...I use a mac now and i love it

These always drive up controversial arguments but I am going to answer for your personal situation
Given you’re used to the Mac OS and you are happy with what you get from them, I would normally say get the Mac. However I don’t find a Macbook air a adequate enough stand alone system hardware wise. More of a niche additional portable system.. lack of prepherals are a bit of an annoyance, and give its extortionate price it is not justified. I also have known quite a lot of people with wifi problems with them, given their lack of connectivity I’d be concernced.
Honestly for your money you’d be better off getting either a Macbook or an a Laptop from someone like Dell or Acer with Win 7
