HAPPY 70th BiRTHDAY BATMAN!!!

Nov. 9 1939 was when Detective Comics issue #27 was published. It had the 1st, bloodthirsty, antisocial detective who dressed like a bat

Now he is more sympathetic and not as dark, but he is a character who has lived on for ages

Seventy years old...? Shouldn't Terry McGinnis be Batman now? :/

And it's been a fun ride, with ups (comics, Dark Knight), downs (Batman and Robin), and "wait, what" moments (Cesar Romero as the Joker). Let's hope it never ends. Long live the Caped Crusader. ^^

Guys... Batman was trained by ninjas at one point.

Not to mention a ninja assassin took over Barbara Gordon's role as Batgirl when she became paralyzed.

and as for you Pyra >:o ninjas in movies are NOT NINJAS i want every1 2 read that, THEY ARE ACTORS AND WANNABIES who just happen to casually disappear in a bloody mess after impersinating a ninja.... its a big crime.......

:p but on the marvel scale seeing batman not as a ninja but a guy with a bat cape Go Batman :)

Jato, that happened in the comics as well. >_> And Cassandra Cain, the new Batgirl, never showed up in the movies, but went on to have her own eighty-something issue run.
