Well my favorite game is Team Fortress 2, its a first person shooter multiplayer game, as the title says its a team game, its really good, i must admit there r better graphics, but graphics dont make a game good/bad.

Well, my favorite, which I'm currently owning in (hooray Knights of the Round/W-Summon/Quadra Magic) is Final Fantasy VII. Great story line, very fun gameplay, did I mention great story line?
Also, has 3 sequels to it, 1 of which is a movie

Depends on Genre
fps I felt Crysis was superior to COD4 despite its less efficient coding, but both of them
strategy - difficult but Civ 2/4 might nip that one
Racing again difficult - Mario Kart SNES/ Wii but for more serious games you could say Grid or maybe GT5 could have a shot at that if it ever comes out.
RPG - KOTOR mentions for KOTOR 2 Mass Effect at the like.
Other - thief series

You are my new best friend.
My favorite games are Zelda (Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess) and Okami. Okami has everything I love packed into one game. XD A wolf, anime, Japan, and art stuff. <3

Hmmm, toughie.
I guess, for the sole sake of sappiness, I'd have to say the two Gears of War games, mainly because they're my lil' brother's favorites and we play co-op all the time.
Some people bond with family picnics and days at the beach. We bond with chainsaw guns and curb-kicking.
If I had to choose the game that got me into games, though, it'd have to be Pokemon Yellow for the Gameboy. That's my most nostalgic game; I still have the cartridge.^^

oohh... u should go ahead & play Doom3, most ppl say its just another shooter game, i think that if u actually take the time to read the storyline it is pretty badass.
I think for adventure game i love Assasins Creed & i really wanna get the 2nd one, i dont like the fact that its not the same guy, cuz i wanna know what happens with the piece of Eden, but i think that swimmin & shootin will make it so much more fun lol, maybe i get to kill a couple more templars, but then again durin the Rennassance period The Church had already turned thier back on the Templars, so i guess ill get to kill Free Masons

Doom3 is fun, I like how they gave it a big pop culture feel through the different PDA media items you pick up (audio logs, emails, videos, etc). The videos are always worth a laugh... reminds me of the kind of thing in movies like Starship Troopers. And the fact that everyone in the game seems to get spam email... all those little things give it a more realistic feel, which makes it a bit more fun than just an average shooter. Blowing up plenty of zombies and demons, with an occasional dose of comic relief... its a pretty good formula in my opinion. I haven't beaten it yet... I don't play it much... but its fun when I do play it, and I'll probably get the expansion after I finish it.
Come to think of it, I don't play many games lately... which has led to me having bought a lot of games and never finished them... on my to-finish list are:
PC:
Doom3
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
StarCraft (+ Brood War after that)
Neverwinter Nights
Nexuiz ("single player" campaign... which is really just a bunch of bot matches)
PS2:
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Final Fantasy X (stuck/bored, grinding in the Omega Ruins to prepare for the final boss)
Final Fantasy XII
Kingdom Hearts: Re: Chain of Memories (card battles suck, but I want to beat it before continuing through the series)
As well as countless DS games (almost everyone I've ever bought... I don't play handhelds much anymore...)
And that's just a short list. It's sad because this list is anything but exhaustive.

Whilst I haven't played it for a while. Mario galaxy is pretty good
Assassins creed was pretty good but every level was practically identical.. I hope they address this issue in 2.
Rollercoaster tycoon 3 was good

Fear 2 is not as scary, & story line is not as good, i guess i like it cuz it has more action.
