I think it would be nice that around major holidays to add some nice holiday colors to the maps during a week or two before and/or after the day

Halloween
Christmas
Easter
(these were just quick examples)

Whatever you guys want, I just figured it would be fun and help change things up, no big changes and still use the same maps, just slight changes such as colors/textures/special boons or something

For example, for Halloween, change some colors of things to orange and black, and maybe add a boon that changes your model (like a costume)

I added a poll, doesn't mean much though, because it's up to the council and ultimately the person who would edit the maps for us (whether it be Jaw, Zab, Aki, or whoever else knows how)

You left out the "Aayci Warrick will do it" option

But, as I don't celebrate those holidays, in fact, actively avoid them - is not for me!

lol yeah, if it is too much of nuiscance to change them, it's not a big deal if we don't do it lol

Oh, and of course I'll volunteer and do them, as soon as I finish my personal skin.

I really hope we can find some people willing to put this together as I'm sure it would be quite enjoyable.

Neat Idea, but I would make Holiday Skins for guys and girls. You can make it extra edit parts for the 6 edit chars. It would be a nice little change in pas(might be wrong word). And don't do two Catholic holidays without any other religions (coming from a Catholic). Hanuka, and other ppl can suggest others, I don't know which are more important then others.

As stated, if this is achieved, then Phoenix (or any KR council with server FTP) is your 'go to guy' as I'm remaining uninvolved in this endeavor. I felt I should state this sooner then later.

I wouldn't edit the maps. Make holiday maps that can be changed to by an admin. And what I said before.

I KNOW admins can change it.. Its that the guests on the server would not be able to join due to not having the maps (no traffic)

Whoa, I just did a double take on my post. I should really think things through before I post them >.<

It is still a good idea. However, this could cause big arguments on the server with people who like to argue, cause fights, etc. The image I have in my head is someone going "why isnt there a (insert random holiday name here) map theme?"

I say we should try it, but if/when people start causing trouble, remove them. Not worth that much trouble.

Sounds pretty cool. I like the idea of being able to spice up some of the default JA maps and make them look less like the same old maps. Holidays seem like a great excuse to do this.
