Now, I live on the http://www.knights-reborn.org/forum/sea ... d=newposts link and hit refresh like every 20 minutes or so

Sometimes I see the pen animated on the paper icon, but most the times it isn't, so can someone tell me what thats means?

animated (i know the filename is called 'hot' but that doesnt explain it to me)


and not animated



i would presume it means someone is currently writing a post in that forum, but no new posts appear (that or certain forums are just flagged as hot all the time)

The writing, moving pen means that the topic is "popular" which I'm assuming means that a lot of people have posted there in a short amount of time. If you go to the bottom of a forum page (meaning anything goes, news, etc), you will see the explanations.

It means taht the forum section is highly active or something like a topic is currently active. Not animated means it hasnt been used lately and nothing really going on with that said topic.

I never knew this thing existed 0_o
