Not to spam the said forums with nonsequential nonsense, but i thought i'd share this one too since i found it hilarious. Im an old roleplayer myself but i have to admit i have never gone into a "L.A.R.P" as these things are called. Not to be rude to anyone whom might like it, its just that this particular segment is really silly and quite entertaining, atleast to my eyes.

They are engaging in a serious "roleplay" called L.A.R.P .. Wich er.. means Live action role play? Some of these LARP events can be as huge as having thousands upon thousands of people, building small towns wich they live in for around a week. During that time they cannot break chactater unless they are in a designated area to do so..

Anyway to get back to the point, they are -serious- and even i think it looks awfully silly.. It seems that they are engaging in a form of battle with.. well monsters >.> I might be a roleplaying nerd.. but you will never ever see me wearing a costume outside of hallowen ~Chuckles~ I'll stick with my computer games.

Grown up men and women dressing up for a SERIOUS game of like warcraft is hillarious.

I heard of this roleplay thing I dated a lad briefly like 8 years ago who once told me he did roleplay

Never realised he did that.. Its very sad, in fact I cannot think of a sadder thing to do. lol,

ps is that guy really throwing peanuts shouting lighting bolt!!. lol

Ahem, to rush to my fellow roleplayers defence here.. Not everyone does this particular thing.. Some events costs millions to fund and to build the said cities. This group is most assuredly a private group wich makes it seem quite silly, but a huge event you really have to take the role of someone else and play him out accordingly. That my friends is more like a theater of sorts, and nothing like this.. ~Chuckles~ Video here

Seriously Id have to have shifted several beers after winning the cup with my local rugby team to do soimething like this and then it be a piss take.

Doing a theatrical performance is one thing but going to an event with fanatics dressing up and acting like this for some serious fantasy is..

In fact I feel embarressed to watch the video let alone be in it
