<Insert Rant here>

Noone buys adobe software unless they are a business or a single
great/well known professional (in which case adobe gives them the software for free)

and if you do/did buy it...than in the words of an Adobe PR Representative:

"You did what?!"

Their software is not meant for the average consumer. It's meant for businesses and....sure fine idiots that are willing to buy it.

They don't care about their software being pirated. They actually encourage it in the background. It just makes their software all the more a corner stone in the design industry. And some might say "well they already are a corner stone." With more and more people opening up their programs and trying it out that means more jobs in the industry and therefore more money for Adobe.

Plus they aren't losing money from pirated software anyway. Even if I couldn't download it I SURE AS HELL would not spend over 2 grand on it.

So they can either have me as a person requesting my business to buy the software or not have me at all.

Finally, why do you think they release new versions all the time? To make money of businesses of course.

Now go and grab yourself some software. You're not hurting anyone. And don't believe anyone who says otherwise because they don't understand how the system works.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got the master collection. its about 5gbs

But I didn't install Soundbooth or Premiere since I have Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack.

As a side note:
I wont tell you how I got my software, you're free to think whatever you want, and I definitely won't tell you how to get yourself a copy. If you don't know HOW to by now then...

That's your fault for not doing a simple google/torrent search I suppose.

It really is not that hard, or as hard/bad as everyone makes it out to be.

If I was Adobe I would be wearing the Title: "Most Pirated Software of All Time" as a badge of honor.

Dunno

A work colleauge is a professional photographer.

He uses Adobe Light room or something like that really impressive stuff he does.

To him he says the Mac and PC version are the same for real use.
