But its looking like a MMO :?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars: ... d_Republic
http://kotor3.net/2008/10/21/new-knight ... confirmed/

Will have to wait n see but personally I think the MMO element is a travesty. Why ruin a good thing.

MMOs storyline and interaction within the game does not ultimateley compete with SP counterparts

I mean compare WoW and GWs to say KOTOR and Mass Effect.. no competition.

:/ i disagree with that. Force Unleashed is a good game. It's just a big disappointment to most Jedi Academy fans because its more focused on the force than your skills with a lightsaber. And as we all know, Jedi Academy is the exact opposite.

ugh, I think its "okay"

I lent it to my brother who is a huge huge star wars fan he played first two levels and gave it me back.. he incidentally has neevr played JA.. I havent played JA much..

Looks like KOTOR III is going to be ruined by kids who think words like pwn and n00b are impressive to say.

Well, I am usualed to a thing that Bioware are goddamn awesome story tellers, I've played Neverwinter Nights 2 and Mass Effect = Awesome stories. For example Mass Effects ends in such an awesome way ( I am sad for those people in ships that died while attacking Sovereign and proud of my team killing twice goddamn Saren ) . If Bioware are working with Lucas Arts on Kotor, I think the story wont be bad, but I am afraid of the attacks they put in, because 2 companies making one game = Arguements.

You're right

KOTOR
Mass effect
NWN
The Witcher

All good story tellers

Not really sure how an online KOTOR will go. it seems to me that the main element of which makes these games so great is that you as the individual decide the story you are teh main character hero or not.. dont really see how a MMO can incorporate that..

But Bioware have been good in the past

KOTOR was great for its time

never really got into the NVNs ill admit

ME is good but short on the main story, but hopefully since there are many sequels to come it should be good

On the Witcher HD now, its long it seems although some things seem annoyingly obscure about it

I expect bioware will come up with something good on this but MMO.. listen to the fans all teh message boards say theyd prefer SP..

I am going to put my neck on the chopping board here and say MMO or MMORPGS while they may last longer just are not as good as SP titles like above. Id also throw oblivion into the SP title.. amek a game like that online ... it turns to shizz

I agree with you Chantelle about Oblivion. It's excellent SP game, but if it was MMO, it wouldnt be that nice as it is. But well, we cant tell for sure how the KOTOR will turn out, if it is to be MMO, I think they'll do a lot of different things than those in SP. We'll see :)

I think having KOTOR as MMO is liek buying a Gucci suit and wearing traniers (sneakers) with it

I suppose if done correctly it could work

Bioware are usually good, Lucas Arts however.....

Lets hope they maintain some KOTOR theme style play

BUT MMO means that you wont get character interaction any more :(

Feels like a loss still.
