Hey I recently purchased a new graphics card (GeForce 8800) and found an issue not enough POWAH! So I need a new power core before I use it hence my question. Anyone know some good brands with 550-650 watt that I can order online and where?

Ron doesn't need a 750w PSU. A 500W max with what he's running.

simple rule on psu, dont go too cheap!!
for your card 500-600 is fine, if your doing more upgrades no harm in looking for more as you might want to add another gpu.

make sure it has 18amps on the 12v rail or your card may nto work.. i had that issue when i purchased my 7600GT.

Antec, Coolermaster Arctic even as FJ suggested Corsair make good stuff
As suggested avoid generic unbranded ones, they are more likely to blow (I dont mean blow as in an insult way as in literally blow). plus they might not have as many adaptors and plugs on
Remeber your graphics card now will need at least one 6pin plug to plug into it, if you check the spec on the gpu your buying you should see something like 6 pin PCI-E on it anyway.. But your likeley to be fine anyway. SOme might say it has 2 which is even better if you were to add another 8800 and Sli
by the way what 8800 is it? GT? GTS 512, GTS 640 (GTS 512 is in fact better as its a new design) or GTX.

Well before i bought it I was using my built in graphics card which is a ATI Radeon xpress 200 series.. so I'm perfectly happy with an upgrade.

If you really don't care about price, and want quality, go with
PC power and Cooling. They make easily the best power supplies, even though they may not be cheap.

They're hugely expensive, but for quality they can't be beat.
They also make smaller psus like 510 watt.
