Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Just to recap,
* Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Australia, and the United States ( Hawaii ) are all investigating EA as implementing predatory gambling.
* Disney has threatened to pull their licence away from Star wars games
* The UK has caused the game to undersell massively by 61% when compared to Battlefront 2015.
* EA broke the record for the most downvoted post in all of reddit

It should also be noted that because EA took down microtransactions temporarily, this is adding to an already abysmal sell comparison to Battlefront 2015. It will probably take a while to have changes set in stone, but I hope it comes soon.

Good. The less games that have this idiotic loot box system in place, the better.

It doesn't help that their PR person has done an absolutely abysmal job in handling the complaints over these, especially the ones that actually offer some critical analysis.

EA's response to loot boxes and other issues became the #1 most downvoted comment in Reddit history. Outstanding.

I'd like to mention: they didn't just break that record. They blew it out of the water.

The guy who held the record before was literally asking for downvotes. He wanted to break the record before that and was successful. His comment has a score of (as I'm typing this) -23,489. EA's comment has a score of -673,393.

Apparently Disney isn't happy about any of this either. The head of EA got a call about doing something about the negative press or else they'd get their exclusive Star Wars license revoked.
