Well, I just wanna say that I'm sorry if sometimes I join the server, you talk to me and I just leave.. I don't know why, but sometimes my game is just crashing as soon as I join the server.

Have you tried running your motherboard through the dishwasher? It might be dirty.

Or try running it as administrator I do when I play on there cause if I don't it would crash if I started it up

I had a similar problem with ja+, and the solution I found was to type this command at the console: bind mouse1 amhug

This solves a lot of issues with JA, honestly

Well, I had a big problem, when I tried to run it as administrator, I was stuck at loading screen... Anyway, I reainstalled the game and everything seems ok.. Despite the fact that KR skinpack is not working anymore, but I'll fix that, thank you very much guys :)

Talking serious now. I had a similar problem, sometimes when the map changes the game crashes :/
Since I use OpenJK, the solution I found, and its not 100% effective, is add to the Game Data foldes the "opengl32.dll". I solves about 95% of the issues I had :D

I tried the Opgengl32.dll, didn't fix the problem... It's not on map changes, it's when I join the server..

Don't randomly add/replace DLLs. The only instances of OpenGL that should be on your computer are from your GPU vendor (matching your hardware + software combination) and Microsoft itself.

As graphics cards improved, more "extensions" to OpenGL were added. jamp.exe did not anticipate this, so with recent hardware + drivers, it will most likely crash (buffer overflow)
Driver vendors realised this and started adding in hacks/"patches" to improve compatibility with older games. A common patch used is to detect the process name "quake3.exe" and only report a subset of OpenGL extensions known to be used by Quake 3.
...which leaves us with a few options:
1. Rename jamp.exe to quake3.exe so it receives a shorter list of extensions. Avoids the crash but may not look 100% correct
2. Use OpenJK. This fixes the underlying crash issue (among many other things)
3. Replace OpenGL's DLL to use a "proxy DLL" which (among any number of things) will reduce the list of reported extensions. This is risky business, you should generally not download and run code from unknown sources. Especially if you run JA as admin (which OpenJK does not require..)

We have a KR skinpack? This was unknown to me until he mentioned it. Huh. Where's it at?
