NUMBER 10
Star wars: Clone wars TV show
Star wars fans were split as the Clone Wars series aired in. Not only did the Theatrical release, Star wars: Clone Wars, not win many people over, but the TV show, despite being better overall, had a few things many fans were not together on. The first two seasons were targeted towards younger kids, being silly and somewhat light hearted. The third season was somewhat darker, and held more suspense, and many either liked or hated Darth Maul in Season six.

NUMBER 9
Batman vs Darth Vader
Despite being a non-Disney production, Batman vs Darth Vader raised alot of arguments. On one hand, fans say Batman will win out of tech and genius and skill. On the other, fans say that Darth Vader will simply use the Force or the Lightsaber to win. Either way, it makes 9th place.

NUMBER 8
Mediclorians
When George Lucas introduced Mediclorians in his highly anticipated Phantom Menace Star wars prequel, it left some thrilled and some disappointed. Those thrilled would make the argument that Mediclorians, in the blood cells, is the generative field that Obi-wan Kenobi spoke of to Luke Skywalker. Otherwise, many thought it was George Lucas messing with Star wars originality and lore.

NUMBER 7
Emperor Palpatine's revival
In the Expanded Universe, writers decided to bring back Emperor Palpatine by introducing the idea that he had clones before. Not only did this look like a cheap rehash for many fans, it also seemed to be a desperate move to capture attention. Though some fans didn't mind as this gave the opportunity for interesting drama to occur with the Skywalkers.

NUMBER 6
The Prequels
This is one of the most disappointing/thrilling things George Lucas has ever made. This time around, George's work would not go through any filters, for better or worse. Some fans were extremely angry at the acting, story, characters, choreography, pacing, and overall wooden outcome. However many were extremely satisfied wit what they got, enjoying the performance, music, story and all others just as much as the others hated it. There has not been quite a large feedback from Star wars since this.
NUMBER 5
The New Jedi Order
This is possibly the most popular book/comic Star wars series to date. After the ending of Return of the Jedi, writers felt compelled to continue the lineage of our heroes and continue the story. It included the children of the Solos taking up the mantel of the former glory and going on perilous adventures. Some loved the idea of the Solos and Skywalkers' children going in their place and making a name for themselves, and the idea of the New Republic and countless other storylines. However many others felt that the story was best left at Return of the Jedi, and that the idea that kids could pick up a lightsaber and swing it and try to look like the original heroes was the dumbest idea they've ever heard.

NUMBER 4
Original Trilogy Special Additions
After the success of the Original Trilogy, George Lucas attempted to perfect them further by added in several effects and changes to the general feel. However in may respects, the attempt failed. CGI addons, Luke's scream in Empire Strikes back, images blocking the camera in A New Hope, many fans outright hated the reiteration of George's classic movie series. However it fixed several issues with lighting and effects, making it look better and sound better.

NUMBER 3
Han or Greedo shooting first
This was too large of a controversy to be included in a burst, so it gets it's own place on the list. After the special additions George Lucas had assigned, one scene depicts Greedo firing his blaster and missing, allowing Han to shoot in the span of two seconds. George argued that Han could not redeem himself as a hero if he did that. However it is clearly seen that Han shoots first in several scenes, such as with Vader in the Empire Strikes back. Some make a point that Han redeemed himself only after A New Hope, and so the task was done. Others, however, well, you already know.

NUMBER 2
Star wars: Battlefront by EA
After purchasing the license, EA's first order of business was to reboot the beloved series known as Battlefront. What came up was not clear in terms of feedback. Upon release, several were angry that it seemed unfinished, without the satisfactory content that a Battlefront game should have, and that it bared little resemblance to it's predecessors in terms of gameplay. On the other hand, some made the argument that the updates, graphics, sound design and timeless gameplay made up for it.

NUMBER 1
Mace Windu vs Emperor Palpatine
In Revenge of the Sith, we see that the renowned Mace Windu and scheming Palpatine are facing off. During the course of combat, we get the impression that Emperor Palpatine is losing the fight, and our suspicions are only larger when Palpatine falls over, with Mace pointing the blade triumphantly at him. Fans of the movie's argument is clearly apt; Emperor Palpatine, the powerful sith lord, beat Mace Windu, a barely understood Jedi.
However, some think that the novel clears it all; That Emperor Palpatine would have never swayed Anakin to become Darth Vader if Palpatine was seen killing a Jedi. This remains a monstrous and long controversy and makes it's place at top.
