Greetings all, so I just wanted to update you on some things: lately, I have been having trouble with FPS, both on my Steam version and my Disc version. So I have decided to devote both versions to two things: Speed and content. The Steam version will be build on speed, where there will be little to no mods. Perhaps a stance mod and some cosmetics, but that's it. The disc verson, which contains UU, will be used to look pretty. As in, increased lighting, graphics and such. It also contains about 56 PK3 files right now, so if you didn't before, you now know what I mean by '' content ''

This also means that I will NOT run any form of JA++ or JA+ For Steam. I am reinstalling it as I type this. For some reason, JA++ is extremely laggy, and that will in no way help with my FPS |:<

UU decreases FPS when your video card isn't that good. In my old laptop I could play fine (128 MB video card) and I used to get always 125 FPS (though that was always my FPS limit) and when I used UU my FPS went down to 15-30. Consider that.

I'm so used to playing 30-40 fps. I'd love to play with 60-80 but I went cheap on the laptop lol.

even if the laptop is new but has cheap specs, JA should run fine. It's such an old game.

Your best bet is to not have anything going on in the back round as you play.
