So, you've probably noticed that by now, I have offical started a debate series, were there will be a winner and settle it. What's that, you ask? Batman vs Darth Vader? I have no idea what you are talking about... It must have a draw, or something.

So, let's start our fight!


BOBA FETT VS JANGO FETT


Boba Fett was a blaster wielding prodigy. He was a clone of Jango Fett, however he was handpicked to be his son. He spent his whole life bounty hunting, kidnapping, extorting, capturing, blackmailing, and sabotaging. All of which he excelled at. He became the number one most known and feared Bounty Hunter in the galaxy. He keeps his gadgets well stocked on his armor, and prefers to carry larger and heavier weaponry for multiple situations, ranging from poison, explosives, rockets, knifes, smoke, flamethrowers, and other assorted equipment.


Jango Fett was known as one of the fastest gunslingers in the Galaxy. He could shoot eight targets in the blink of an eye, and could draw them just as fast. He had a large assortment of tech, but kept it light to move faster and quicker. His load ranges from rockets to poison to knifes to wrist lasers and flamethrowers.

The fighters will brawl on the desolate rock of Polis Massa, a not well known asteroid. The gravity, of course, will be vacant.

My vote is on Boba Fett, as I prefer the heavier load and I believe that his bolts would hit Jango, despite having slower speed.

I'd have to say Boba. Jango is the better hand to hand fighter and might even be better at firearms (He killed 6 Jedi at once before), but Boba has much better armour and equipment. Boba after a brutal fight. The only physical edge that Jango has might be strength, every other area is about equal, though Boba might be more agile.

I think Jango would win this fight, the fact that he can shoot so fast makes him unstoppable. He is lighter which actually would make him faster. So how would this fight end in my eyes you ask? he'd pew pew pew pew pew pew pew so fast and accurately in the same spot it'd penetrate bobas armour and leave him dust on an asteroid for all eternity.

So neither party would really have the advantage there. I'm taking Jango overall I think. In terms of on-screen fights, Jango goes up against at least one jedi and wins, in addition to killing some rhinoceros thing in episode 2. Boba gets his rifle cut in half by the only jedi he faces and then is killed by a blind Han Solo wielding a boat paddle. I'm willing to accept that it was just a bad day at the office for Boba, but I still think Jango has the edge in this one.

During 41 ABY, Boba Fett replaced his Durasteel armour for Beskar, also known as Mandalorian iron. Beskar is a nigh-indestructible material capable of resisting lightsabers. He has better armour for sure, as well as better weapons.

Not only this, but the droid PROXY once changed into Jango. Boba and Jango fought, but the fight started close quarters, giving Jango the advantage. Despite this, Boba was able to escape and disable PROXY as well as Rahm Kota.




When it comes to close quarters, Jango wins no question. But Boba can get out of that kind of situation, then Jango can't do anything to his armour. Jango is more skilled, though very slightly. Boba's equipment gives him an overall advantage.

Jango wins. Blue is better than green, gg. But really Jango is so good he would MAKE the fight be at close range. Win Win Win.

Boba Fett would not make it easy, but his limited knowledge in close quarters combat would be his ultimate condemnation when Jango Fett blasted his Jetpack out of the sky. Boba would use all of his arsenal, and for awhile, It would keep Jango on his toes. But it would only prolong the inevitable when it was countered by Jango's fast movement and light armor. Boba would be taken down by Jango's special knowledge of Close quarters combat, leaving him with a broken neck.

The winner, is Jango Fett.


Zaluk did provide the best argument, saying that Boba's arsenal, armor, and weapon is more deadly. This is true, but only for as true as Jango allowed. Jango's finesse and years of discipline gives him the upper hand.

They are the same person! These versus things bother me. I am going to use legend canonicity for jango to support my claims.

Jango Fett was the son of a farmer on Concord Dawn. He was caught in the middle of a struggle between Death Watch and Jaster Mereel's true Mandalorians. Jango was recruited by Jaster and taken under his wing. He fought against the Death Watch and after that ended he continued to fight with the True Mandalorians. Their belief was that Mandalorians shouldn't be conquerors, but guns-for-hire. Later a sneak attack by death watch killed Jango's mentor Jaster and left the true mandalorians leaderless. Jango stepped in as the young new commander of the True Mandalorians and kept the same values Jaster instilled into him at a young age. The Death Watch wanted more revenge so they set up Jango's Mando and got the Jedi on them. The jedi led by Count Dooku killed them all and gave Jango to the government of the planet they fought on and they sold him into slavery. Jango managed to escape and get revenge on Vizslan. Then he became a bounty hunter. Quite the career. I am not going to go into detail about the Cuy'val Dar or anything because I think Jango pretty much peaked after his fight Tor Vizsla. He uses dual pistols with deadly accuracy and speed. In his gauntlets he has a blade, toxic darts, flamethrower, and whipcord. He lent his sniper rifle to Zam Wessell and then killed her so she isn't giving that back. He is pretty formidable to say the least. Then Mace Windu chopped his head off.

I am going to use current canon for Boba Fett

He was born in a tube. A complete replica of the galaxies fiercest bounty hunter. Trained in a top of the notch training center for Jedi killers. Only he didn't age as quickly as the MILLIONS OF OTHERS just like him. Only they aren't just like him. The Jango DNA is stretched over millions of clones. So each develop certain quirks which help the clones differentiate between each other. Boba is closest to the source. After witnessing his current dueling opponent and sort of father get his head sliced off he decided to start planning on getting even with the Jedi. Only one. After the failed attempt on Mace's life, a teenage Boba Fett was put into adult prison. He escaped during a prison riot. THE NEXT THINGS I AM ABOUT TO SAY is what was about to happen in The Clone Wars animated series. They didn't because it was cancelled. Bounty hunter Cad Bane was the second greatest bounty hunter next to Jango Fett. He was going to teach Boba the bounty hunting career. I am upset those episodes weren't made. The following info comes from the wonderful novel by Christie Golden, Dark Disciple. POSSIBLE *SPOILER* Boba Fett leading a team of bounty hunters was hired by Asajj Ventress to distract Count Dooku. Boba Fett managed to capture the count and escape with their lives. After the clone wars Boba Fett became the most feared hunter in the galaxy. He alerted Darth Vader about Han Solo and co. Was hired by Jabba the Hutt to be a full time body guard. Not cheap. And then got stabbed in the jet pack by a blind smuggler and flung into the mouth of the mighty sarlacc. Where he was digested slowly for over a thousand years. (Or maybe he blew his way out of it.) Impressive..most impressive. Boba's arsenal is considerably heavier than Jango fett's. Boba hefts around an EE-3 which fires a three round burst. He missed Luke, but it probably was intentional only to lead him into Vader's trap. His gauntlets have wrist laser, flamethrower, whipcord, and some control to his and his father's ship Slave 1 which Boba has heavily modified.

I am aware I skipped over a ton of information especially on their respective gear. I only wanted to address a bit about them and what they went through to get the reputation they have. My final say is that Boba Fett wins. Because Instead of backing away slowly firing away with a blaster pistol at a Jedi. Boba planned several deadly traps for the Jedi and took down a Jedi star cruiser a long the way. And he would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for Anakin Skywalker and his pesky astromech droid.
