Ah, yea, that ISP - has no moral standing, has absolutely no problem with selling it's services to criminals. I'll clear the check on it.

It also happened to me back in France. But what's this thing about selling to criminals? Is there something I don't know about this ISP?

Use a reverse DNS resolver on your own IP and see part of its description, i.e. proxad = proxy address.

So this company has no compunction to confuse its genuine customers with those who pay them to hide their identity (they are even in the same IP ranges), and it even tags the real people with a proxy label!! Proxy isn't exclusively used by criminals (for instance whistle-blowers, or people attempting to dodge a government firewall) - but like wearing a ski-mask in Summer, the illegal use far outnumbers the legitimate, and looks dodgy regardless.

Yes, I remember exactly you said the exact same thing. Hence the point of my question about that ISP in France, out of curiosity.
