How do you feel about this? Alot of people aren't happy about it. I am a PC gamer and i would want to play single player too.

I wonder if there'll be a huge spark in Battlelog forums about this. I am sure they're complaining to developers they really want single player.

I don't know what the difference is anymore between the definition of single player and multiplayer. Is single player just the campaign/story part and multiplayer is all online, or can I still kill bots and AI when internet connection is poop?

I assume it would have been like battlefront 2, with a story/campaign that you can play single player or co-op and then some instant action co-op or with bots type of stuff. Then the online multi is a whole separate ballgame.
I'm disappointed by the lack of a dedicated sp campaign for the new game, tbh that's probably what I would have spent most of my time on. I'm not much of one for online shooters, although I probably still get the game regardless.

In a game that focuses on MP, I'd rather have a good MP than have some meh SP and meh MP.

idc about singleplayer in battlefront - as in, where it needs a major story. Sure, it'd be cool, but eh. From my perspective, you're just a soldier in the army, there is nothing special about you because you'll probably die within 10 minute of the fighting. Want a game/story about soldiers that are important? Republic Commando. I think BF2 did it perfectly; Galactic Conquest was lots of fun and could be converted to coop.

I don't think BF2's campaign was really about an individual. It had that one guy narrating, but basically you just took part in all these major battles with a story arc tying them together. That's what I would have wanted from the new one, just a loose narrative arc tying together some fun battles where you have some various objectives to break up the monotony of kill everyone and capture the points.

Yes that;s what I meant, when playing BF I don't anticipate / want to feel like an important somebody. I'm a soldier on the
battle front.
