Chewbacca and Desann Model Scale

Hello to all the KR Admins , as the title says i just wanted to discuss a little about the Chewbacca and Desann Model. so i've been playing the same model for about a week now and i thought that it was time for a change , so i came across the model named Chewbacca because he's a really cool model. so i chose him as a playable model to be and the first thing i noticed is that his height was way to tall this goes for Desann aswel i'm not sure if they are SP Models but i was wondering if they could be fixed to suit the original height of all the other models that are playable i noticed other servers i've played on both Chewbacca and Desann have equal size to say Kyle or Rosh. i think it might have to do with coding the server.cfg or something Now just to throw this out there i've asked about 5 people about the taller models (Chewbacca and Desann) and i've heard diffrent things. Being that they have a taller hitbox , they have slightly longer range. and the normal models are able to crouch there swings a little easier due to the size. i was wondering if this could be fixed to shorten them to the same height as the other models to ensure that both of the models have equal saber combat. Also they are sweet models ;3 http://i58.tinypic.com/2njbsr4.jpg copy and paste the link for the comparison , just click the image to make it a little bigger and look for the red lines above the head of the models to see the difference

This is a japlus thing with the models being scaled up to their sp sizes there are also models like jawas and yoda which are scaled down. Them being scaled only really changes their hitboxes(maybe?). Smaller models will be harder to hit and larger models will be easier(not even sure if this is true). It does not actually affect the saber length though. It will look longer but will be the same as any normal saber in its range.

Wow... DON'T DO IT! Or we will be going to have small Chewies and giant Yodas... :(
That's the fun part of having a scaled model, if you set it to the normal scale you will take it from the others that like scaled models, and a small Chewie would be strange.

I think it increases/decreases the saber range too, as it's harder to hit players that are away with a downscaled model, that has a smaller blade. (I'm not sure about it)

You could take advantage of a big model with a big saber to have more range (if what I said is true) and hit players that are away from you, it's not that bad to use a big model. I don't see a real reason to change it, as you can crouch if you wanna hit a normal model with a big model without letting him crouch and avoid your swing.

If you want to have fun with scales, It's all in modelscale.cfg, but I don't think it affects hitbox or saber range at all, for each Japlus player do not have the same scalelist. For example, if you scale Chewbacca to 1.25, I'm not sure that everyone would see it 1.25

model scale is all through the server settings. even if you changed them in your own cfg it wouldn't affect anything server side.

As John said. But if you change it in the server side cfg, it will make difference. It's exactly what Tony asked admins to do. It would change the model appearance to everyone, as the hitbox and the saber range (if it's true).
