after years of waiting for money I finally upgraded my rig:

2tb 7200 rpm storage
8 gb 1600 gskill ram
i7-4790k
asus sabertooth z97 mark1 mobo
geforce gtx 760
windows 7

built it myself and it runs like a dream...sometimes i just open the case and stare at it.

Seriously that's an awful set up of clutter cables. Get a better case and get them sleeved and glow with cold cathodes. I like a tight case with clean airflow. I should show my pics. I have better cable management. Airflow is important to ensure a cooler case. Not to mention water cooler is better to have. Less dust.

@Nebs, the case is nothing special. Just the one I was using before just with all new parts in it. I like it because it has a dust filter in the front.
@HolyWarrior, I don't want a glowing computer.

Update! I didn't like the stock cooler that came with the processor because I had to run my case fan at half-speed to keep it cool. So, I bought a new cooler:

Now I only have to run my case fan at quarter-speed. :P
