Even tho i have JKA on steam i wanted to download UU to listen to music from time to time when playing so when i went on their website my antivirus (Bitdefender) stoped me saying it may be harmful so i went on and scaned it with a few website scanners and it seems it has been flaged harmful
So point of this topic worth taking the chances? and if not
Doesanyone has a link where i can download the latest UU safely?

it's probably because there were download links to save .exe's / applications... I'm not sure if that's the case, but that'd be my guess. Any unpopular website that hands out .exe's will probably always be flagged as potentially harmful. Whenever your AV sees a "sketchy" .exe, it throws hissy-fits.Sketching being unrecognized as safe based on the website I'm assuming.

I don't really know much about website scanners, but I actually picked up on something Jaw told me about back in the day. Download the software, run it in a virtual box, see what happens. I could be very wrong though, I wouldn't listen to me :)

Anyways, I haven't checked but JKHub or JK2files might have it uploaded there.

It's something about core injection tech or what not, it's harmless as far as I know.

It'll flag because it has behaviour similar to code injection. It injects a dll into the running memory of jamp.exe and changes the main loop of jamp to call the library. My admin commander uses a similar technique but I create a code cave within the target's memory and have its main loop call that, a little more tidier and less intrusive than a dll injection, but I'm sure it'll flag on some scanners. In general applications are not supposed to fiddle with other applications memory and running code.
