yep built it installed drivers and antivirus...works great except now it isn't
yep i expected this to happen...JK3 is having problems... when i install the second disk into the CD-ROM it is on the assets2.pk3 file and an error message comes up saying

Component transfer error


Component: Game 2
File Group: Game 2 files
File: D:\GameData\GameData\base\assets2.pk3
error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

great so new computers always have some stupid errors like this and i saw that if you try one of these methods that i looked up online and it doesn't work there is no way to fix them lol that is stupid and i dont believe them either.so can you guys please help me i promise to be more active

A CRC is a corrupted drive, so you won't be getting that file, but I've heard rumors the source disks can be downloaded and mounted on a virtual drive.

couldn't i just move all the files from my original computer to my new computer and start up the game by mounting the drive?

Yup, just copy the whole folder and it may well run from that alone, but, if it needs setting from the installer, and the installer isn't completing so those settings get applied, you're still back where you started.

hey it worked i just moved the lucasarts folder from my old computer to the new one and JKA works like a charm!! hooray! and jato remind me never to let you get near my new computer lol
