3 things,

1, if i spammed that link, would it give you loads of small donations? or would it only do it once? (i assume this one)

2, i dont have an andriod phone, so sadly, i cant play it

3, Is this not the game that uses 4 as the "magic number"

as soon as, on their turn, as long as there is x+1 on the board, you are garanteed to win, by matching the number they take out to make 4

x = multiple of 4

1. They scan for spamming, I suppose its how obvious its done - but it would be loads of small donations.
2. amtele android fazz
3. No! That's 21 - look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nim#The_21_game

For you to see its play I have a postage stamp sized Windows version as mentioned here which can be got from http://www.egonomics.com/android/dots.exe

@Fazz: And not only columns, but 1 column can be effectively broken into 2 by taking dot from the middle of it.

Just a bit of feedback for you guys. So far I've had 112 downloads of my game, with 82 of them keeping it - which is a far higher ratio than I expected. Also, I have now made 16 cents!!!!

So, my next project I'm thinking of doing this puzzle game called Sim.

Would you play it? If anyone has another ideas then please share!

Also, Chantelle, you got my game yet??!? :P

How's that research going Fazzy?

Ok, my first beta release for Sim. It only 2 player so far - writing the artificial intelligence for this game will take some doing - I'm not even completely sure how I'm going to tackle it. But as that's the next thing on my list to do, I guess we'll just have to see!!

This is what it looks like so far: -

Snazzy eh? A lot of work there!!!
Android owners can get it from: -

By the by, my Dots and Dashes has been downloaded 195 times, with 101 users keeping it - a higher ratio than I expected. It has also now made me about $1.20 :P

its possible for the second player to win every time, but what they need to adapt what they do baced on what player one does, meaning that there are a lot of algorithms to learn to do so. I havent bothered playing myself to work these out yet :p

Another game done: -

I think next I'll do a live wallpaper then thinking of doing a 3D chess game. The chess will be complex both graphically and obviously algorithmically - so if I don't have a strong enough desire I won't attempt it.

I considered a chess game, in full blown 3D where you can spin the board, zoom out etc, animation and so on. I reckon I got the graphics side covered, but stealing, um adapting, a chess engine (bc I could never write my own) is the harder bit.

indeed. when i was doing it, i got quite far. it was just the deadline was too soon, and there was no way that i would meet it.

if you could 'aquire' a chess engine, then it may be easier :p

Make a magic 8-ball program so you can ask it what program to make.

Thanks for the suggestions guys :)

Before I jump into my next development, which will either be this puzzle game here or a motor bike game, I decided to continue running with Solitaire to improve its appeal. So on that note I'm asking if there is anyone here who can spare me a little time and translate the text in that game to another language. Specifically I'm looking for French, German, Italian and Korean - but really any language would be good.

I have Falcon doing the German but she says she'll have trouble with the couple of paragraphs the game has (most of it is 1 line sentences) - and I don't want to ask my mother-in-law to finish it up (not that I don't love her, but she has dementia). Any takers gratefully appreciated - just contact me for the English text to translate from.
