Hime kept trying to run, run away from the last fight place. The bleeding from her wound wasn’t stopping, at that rate she’d definitely die from blood loss. The blade ripped her stomach, causing a wound that would lock one in spasm, but she still moved as she did not feel the terrifying pain, she was in shock. She cried, tears flowing down her cheeks without a clear end.
„Why?.. Why?! The people I trusted!...“
Her life for her seemed useless at that moment, all the effort, all the hard work she did for Knights Reborn lost its meaning in a blink. The very clan she tried her best for betrayed her, she couldn’t accept it at all, it was too unexpected, too sudden.
Mixed feelings obtained her mind, one of them was hatred. The forced gathered from all her heavy feelings crushed walls around her, causing the ceiling to fall and create a rubble behind her, which closed whole hallways she passed through. One certain place possesed her mind and that was her ship, the very ship she felt the most secure in.
With all the Knights Reborn members in confusion and many helping injured councils, nobody was guarding clan‘s hangar. Hime rushed to her ship, holding a hand at her wound as she tried to heal it with all the remaining force she had, but it wasn’t that easy. Fatigue was taking over her, her eyesight blurred once again.
By the time she got into the cockpit many members of Knights Reborn appeared in the hangar, led by Jawfin, who was certain in catching up. Escape looked completely futile now, the hangar doors were closed and she couldn’t ram them.
„She has nowhere to run! Surround her ship!“ commanded Jawfin, catching his breath after a long run.
Hime’s ship was indeed surrounded. Aware of that Hime lost her consciousness with thoughts about death and old memories.
„Eh, I seriously wished Loking wasn’t right… Seems we’ve got some stuff to do guys,“ In the cockpit walked Chalice from Knight Riders, followed by Faiz and Garren.
„I’ll take care of ship’s override, the best is yours.“
Faiz and Garren nodded, oddly smiling while heading for the door. Their appearance out of the doors of the ship completely took all Knights Reborn members off guard – they stood with their jaws dropped or simply with surprised expression.
„Yo! Quite a welcome we’ve got.“ Said Faiz and gave Garren a sign. Before any of Knights Reborn could react Garren used a mass pull, pulling the most he could. Even two seconds didn’t pass and Faiz literally pushed something away from him, sending all Knights Reborn flying to the walls of the hangar bay. Many weren’t expecting it and ended up being smashed against the walls and passed out, only a few remained standing as they were quick enough to adapt.
„What the hell are you doing?!“ yelled Jawfin.
„Oh my, my. We’ve got some survivors Faiz.“ Sighed Garren.
„Shamefully we do. Let’s hold until Chalice finishes her work.“ Both looked confident in holding out against a few Knights Reborn masters and Jawfin, who by now was in such a rage other members kept their distance from him.
„I’ll make you pay for this dearly!“ Jawfin charged straight at Faiz, soon followed by the rest of members. Both Faiz and Garren turnt on their single light sabers and a fierce fight followed. Light-sabers flashed like fireworks, the room was filled with its distinct sound and rainbow colors appeared on everything solid. Clashes, things cut, angry yells; it looked like a desperate fight for complete obliteration of one side without any end to it. Faiz and Garren were heavily attacked from three directions, their attempts at further force use were futile as they had to block force from Knights Reborn members.
Everybody was jumping, blocking in positions one wouldn’t expect, striking with everything they had. The fight was all about time and both sides knew it, pushed by the time they were exhausting themselves to their limits.
„When did you get so corrupted, Knights Reborn?! We fought side by side and now you even kill your own members?“ yelled Faiz while fighting Jawfin as the rest was more or less fatigued.
„You don’t get it at all! She is the threat to our future and you protect her?! Why?“
„You’re the fool here, now face the consequences!“
At that moment Hime’s Akayuki lifted from the ground with the door still opened, everybody in hangar bay could hear Chalice yelling: „Get in, now!“
Faiz and Garren immediately jumped back through the opened doors to the ship. Knights Reborn jumped too, but they didn’t expect Garren to still have so much power left.
„Demonic tsunami!“ Garren swung both his arms from below to above, sending a massive dark colored force, which like a real tsunami sucked in all Knights Reborn members and pushed them far away from the ship, giving it enough time to escape the base. He himself immediately collapsed.
„Nooooooooooo!!!“ Jawfin screamed in anger. Not did Knights Reborn just failed to execute councils‘ decision on Hime, but they even were now officially more or less in a war with an ally clan. More or less.
„Gosh, could you be faster? I thought I’d drown there.“ Complained Faiz.
„Shut your whines and focus on our next task, Orga said she’ll be waiting for us at Nobue with Loking. You know what happens if we make him wait too long.“
Faiz gulped, „Right…“
Around that time at Nobue, a planet of tremendous all-colored plants, trees and ferocious beasts, were present more people than just Loking and Orga. Around the ancient cracked ruins deep in the endless green of that planet was wandering the same girl who attacked Hime. However, this time she was closely followed by a man wearing the same brown robe, his eyes were covered by a bandage.
„We’ve wandered around here for ages already, we should get inside.“ Says the man calmly.
„I can’t help it, no matter how much I try to reason, I just do not feel well about entering those ruins, something just feels horribly off.“
They both suddenly stopped as if to check something.
„Is it just me or?“ The girl asked.
After a few seconds of hesitation, the man spoke. „No, there’s an unbelievable force nearby and it’s coming close… Let’s hide.“
Both ran a bit and hid behind one of the many stone blocks the ruins had to offer, afterwards they did their best at nullifying their force.
Two people appeared at the entrance to the underground ruins, their force was enormous. The girl deeply sighed with a sad expression, reminding herself something from past.
„…Father.“
The man had a much more troubles expression on his face.
„Not just Loking, but Orga too. We’re in a freakin‘ big mess.“
Never discourage anyone who continually makes progress, no matter how slow.
